THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS POST BELOW: Will NOT be returning here anymore! Went here in October, had a reaction to the antibiotics given, not only was I rather blown off when I called about the reaction (told to call my PCP), but no one even bothered to call to follow up to see how I was doing or anything!!. . I heard from these people THREE weeks later to make another appointment...Then I ended up getting a second opinion on a tooth that was rendered non-restorative and came to find out that it could be saved! Im not knocking anyone elses experience or opinions, but this place will NOT be getting my business anymore! How does a patient of yours call and inform that they had a reaction from meds that you prescribed and you dont even bother to follow up with them???... But Im supposed to come and get extensive dental work done and invest my money in your business??... Absolutely NOT!!!...(that three star just became a ONE, and thats only because I had to give even that!!) ********************************************** I gave a three star rating because truthbetold I really did(do) like the staff(the front desk lady at the time i went seemed kind of stuffy, but nothing I cant tolerate), anyhoo, the down side to my experience is that I was unfairly charged for a cancelled apptmnt. The lady actually called my Mothers home and left a message, instead of calling me(or my cell phone), needless to say, I didnt get the message from my sister(who lives with my Mom) until late that night. The next morning (after my appointment time), the lady comes calling me (wahlah..on my cell phone... While Im at work) asking me where I was. I explained the situation about her message and that I was currently at work... Do you believe she had the nerve to ask me if I was still coming??... Um, hello??...Im supposed to abruptly leave my job, attending to patients (cancer patients) because you chose to call the wrong number for me the day before??..smh...anyhoo, Im now stuck with a balance that I really dont deserve to have (that I probably should talk to someone about)....and, if all fails, I "may" just end up paying to go back because, as I said, the dental staff were pretty okay... So, not sure, well see

Why do they use dr. levines name still? Dr. Levine retired and sold his pratice to this "advanced dental" chain. I have been a client there for over 10 years and since dr. levine left I have decided to switch to another dentist. I went from never having a problem with teeth to all the sudden needing several root canals...!?! what?! O and a "special cleaning" that costs me 500 dollars. I have no pain in my mouth, my teeth are beautiful and the dental hygenist even complimented me on my teeth and told me everything looked great and he would be able to do my cleaning that day. then, in walks the dentist/ salesman and tells the hygenist not to do my cleaning bc I need the "special cleaning" and I have all these major issues going on with my teeth...the dental hygenist actually looked shocked by what the doctor said as he thought my teeth were fine but he had to do as he was told by the dentist so after taking 30 minutes to come up with a treatment plan they sent me on my way. i got a copy of my ex rays and have gone to another dentist. after being told I need 3 root canals by advanced dental care I was told I need NO root canals by my new dentist and I only need 2 fillings that will cost me $200 and not $5,000! I am reporting advanced dental care of temple terrace to the BBB. Always go to a private practicing dentist, the chains will rip you off time and time again! Not to mention drill unecessary holes in your mouth to steal your money. wow.

Took my 6yr old for her 1st visit. Turned out to be horrible experince and worst visit ever for my child. She was seen by Dr. Mounika Falemban and she had to put a stainless steel crown in my child mouth. they did explain to me if she touched her hands or removed mask for nitrous oxide, she will have to charge me a behavial charge. My child not once raised her hand she did cry and yell due to the pain of this mini root canal she was having done, i was in there with her holding her hand. she yelled at my daughter to not cry and yell and still charged me a behavioal fee. Come a few weeks later she is brushing her teeth and the gums are bleeding at site of where the crown was placed. took her to another dentsit for second option, the crown that was placed by Dr. Mounika Falemban; was too big and and was turning in her mouth and was causing her gums to bleed as it turned and rubbed on her gums. Tried to get reimbursed my money back since ith dental insurance they will not cover for the work to be done again once already paid for... Never got my full amount and still had to pay our of pocket and now my poor child is terified from the dentist due to who did a horrible job and is obivioulsy not kid friendly! plus stated she need 2 more crowns, when i got 2nd opinion that was FALSE! Sad she had to go thru this but thatnk god Dr. Mounika Falemban did a horrible job for me to find out that all the other work was FRAUD...

Absolutely the worst experience one can have upon arrival. Reception except for the young African-American gentleman treats you with the utmost disrespect and just downright rude. Its appalling to set an emergency appointment due for excruciating tooth pain and be treated this way. My appointment was set at 3:15 I arrived completed paperwork in tears and waited until 15 minutes before closing to be seen. To my surprise I left the office with no resolution, no comfort because their office was closing and the doctor saw me for literally 2 minutes had just confirm what I and the technician saw on x ray. I still made my payment (nurse offered a coupon for 1st time visit of 39 dollars) I paid with card for documentation and then get hit with a bill of the same amount plus 50 dollars the following month. To date I yet have received a follow up call or a follow up appointment call. I was just thrown out being the last "patient" there and that front desk so eager to leave.

My father turned me onto to this gem in Temple Terrace after I had an aching tooth for 4 months. They sent me to get a root canal then fit me for a crown. First off, I was a pain in the ass to the management when I first went in there thinking they were going to rip me off. But I ended up apologizing to Florence the front desk manager after I got my crown. She was so nice and funny. Dr Herron had me in great spirits when she worked on me, bedside manner. and they have a comfortable room with TV so you are bored and anxious to get out of there. Monica fits you for your crown and she is as pleasant yet proficient as they come. My crown is a PERFECT fit and color. Dr Herron cemented me in when I came back and Im as good as gold. Thank you so much for the great work.. and taking care of my Dad as well. 5 stars!
