We have had problems with this office before however I found this situation to be quite noteworthy. **side note, this was my first scheduled appointment with this dentist but thats nothing new in lieu of the "high turn around" with the staff anyway. I had a scheduled appointment today with Dr. Rostami for a dental check up. Id have to say that she is highly unprofessional and has no regard OR respect for the patients. After getting X-rays I was informed that, after taking the entire day off of work, that I was not scheduled for a cleaning. Although the staff had already worked it out and got me scheduled with the hygienist, the dentist then came in the exam room and argued semantics as to why I should not have thought to be scheduled for a cleaning as well. I explained that I had requested for both a check up and cleaning, when I scheduled the appointment, and was not told otherwise. I dont think any patient should have to defend this, nor be put in that situation, its just common sense. I stated to this dentist that ALL of our numerous previous appointments were always combined with both a check up and cleaning following and IF that was not the case then communication was paramount. Instead of apologizing for the misinformation she argued with me and then had her staff inform me that she would not perform the check up. Trust me when I say that I was MORE than happy to leave, however before leaving I requested for the corporate office number to voice the complaint and the staff refused to provide me with the corporate number. As stated by the office manager "I dont have that number to give you as I am not allowed and you will have to go online and get it." I did call the corporate office, the Great Exprssions located down the street, explained the situation, and a representative happily gave me the phone number. I will say that the office manager and the corporate office seemed genuinely concerned about the situation. On a great note, this has motivated me to find a new practice for not just myself, but for my husband and children as well. Changing practices has been long coming and something we have wanted to do anyway. Although a Great Expression location down the street has welcomed me and my entire family to their practice, we have transferred to Mystic Oaks in Wesley Chapel to Dr. Sarwan. I have been there for my first visit already and absolutely, without reserve LOVE LOVE this dentist and staff. Dr. Sarwan made time to do a thorough exam and did my cleaning right after. The DENTIST did the cleaning herself!!!!! She sees children too. Saying goodbye to corporately owned and operated dentist offices! We will no longer will see a different dentist every visit and will have continuity for years to come!!! I could not be more happy with my new dentist, needless to say has a 5 ⭐️ rating!

I only joined this company because it was the closest place to my home. This place is awful. This is my first review, it takes a lot for me to become upset. In fact I hardly get upset, but this place was awful. My appointment was at 3:30 and it took three hours to be seen. When I confronted the receptionist she told me it will take another 30-45 minutes, it actually took another one and half hours to be seen. My son had paid lessons which he missed. They told me they had a lot of emergencies and I had to wait yet I had scheduled the appointment 3 months in advance. I confronted her and said you should have called me and let me know if you were overbooked and could not handle the workload. The receptionist at the desk was very rude and I asked her if I could be rescheduled. She told me rudely that the doctor was only available on thursdays. I requested an appointment for thursday and she said all slots are filled and she would book the appointment for January-3 months from now. I gave her a piece of my mind which is very rare from me.There was another gentlemen behind me who requested an appointment and she booked it for the following thursday. This injustice really upset me.Well I waited and at the time there were many patients. Patients whose appointments were after mine were seen before me and when I asked she used the accuse he has to get fillings yet the child that came after my son was also in for fillings. In fact he was the last to be seen all the patients were gone and finally his name was called out. When I left I did not even receive an apology from them. If you like unfair treatment and rude staff this is the place for you. I would not attend this place even if all my teeth fell out. Lol I would not have to see the dentist anyway. I will not be going to them again. Better to go the moms and paps. I would give it a 0.

My name is Michael Torres, and I have to come to great expressions for the last nine years. I first came to the office when I first moved to the Wesley Chapel area and I purchased my own. Not having any dental records from the military due to the classification I was still able to get some of the best professional service that I have ever had in my life when it comes to dentistry. The staff has also always been great Crystal, Anna, Renetta, Noemi, Dr. Rostami, Stephanie, and Dr. Cataña, all provide a level of expertise and experience in a good environment for patients to come and receive that worked on to their team. Additionally the venue is clean and professional and has the expectation of what a customer or patient may expect when visiting the dentist. Realistically, patient sometimes dont want to go to the dentist because of all the many facets that are just like when associated with the dentist. However, with great expressions in the Wesley Chapel area you can feel safe and comfortable that the services that will be provided when I Donely be to the patients expectations but the best in quality and care. The staff continues to be professional as well as caring while treating each and every patient individually. You can always count on a smile good service and a happy environment all around. So if youre in the Wesley Chapel area and in need of a dental service as well as a good dental Dr. please consider coming by great expressions on Wesley Chapel they will take care of you. Now remember that from time to time things will happen that is beyond the control of the office, emergencies, rescheduling, and optimal care necessities, But know that you will still be treated with dignity and respect when you come to the doctors office.

This was the first dental office that popped up when I joined my insurance company so I gave it a try in March of 2012. My first visit should have been my hint to never come back to this place. They told me to arrive 30 minutes early to my first appointment to come in and fill out paper work. I arrived there 30 minutes early to find out the doors were locked and the staff was at lunch. So I spent my first 30 minutes waiting outside. After I was finally allowed to enter the lady scolded me for not giving them my insurance information before the visit. I then explained to her that we spoke the day before over the phone and I gave her my insurance information over the phone. She shook her head in disbelief. The nice guy that I am I decided to give them another try and the fact that they already took my x-rays I could not afford to have them retaken at another dentist. In 9 months I was canceled on and rescheduled 3 separate times for appointments. I was told that I had 3 cavities and that they needed to be filled. I had the dentist perform the fillings on all 3 teeth and had to return three separate times to have the fillings adjusted because it made my teeth extremely sensitive. Till this day my teeth do not feel right. The icing on the cake is that the dental office has consistently given me the wrong estimates at the time of service which I get billed for three months after. Im fed up with the service and lack of professionalism. I called and cancelled my next cleaning because I do not feel comfortable going back to this office, during the call the front desk receptionist was real short with me and hung up the phone.
