I went to Dr Schwartz for my annual visit. I had a pap smear and some blood work done and the regular routine things that you do at an annual visit. With a busy summer and taking my kids to their dental visits and getting their school physicals and with a full time job I finally got around to scheduling my follow up visit 4 months later. The appointment scheduler appoligized said sorry were supposed to have called you but you had an abnormal pap smear and you are also in the high risk range with your cholesterol and you need to schedule an appointment with an OB/gyn right away. Im fairly young and have never had abnormal pap tests or blood work before so I assumed when I didnt hear from them my tests were fine. So I went to my OB/gyn who found a polyp that she removed and Ill be having future surgery to have my uterus scraped so as to hopefully prevent future polyps. Im okay thankfully but was very shaken up that Dr Schwartz didnt inform me of the abnormal results on my tests. I then went to her office the following week to go over my blood work showing that I have high cholesterol and talk about my abnormal pap. She pretty much shrugged her shoulders when I asked why I wasnt informed about my abnormal pap smear and she insisted that even though the lab results show Im in the high risk level in 3 areas that Im "just fine" and she has lots of patients whose numbers are way worse than mine. She wouldnt give me any recommendations on diet change or anything. I dont know whats worse; the fact that I wasnt advised of my abnormal pap test and high choloresterol or the way she and her nurses continued to say my tests are just fine and just shrugging off the fact that I had a polyp that fortunately hadnt turned to cancer yet. She is irresponsible and had no iota of sympathy or appology or even admitting that she did anything wrong.

First visit with Doctor Schwartz and I want to say Im glad I chose her as my primary doctor. Im new to Winter Park FL and I have to say she is amazing and very thorough and knowledgeable. To be honest I havent had such a thorough exam like the one she gave me in years. Many doctors I have been to in the past ask questions and just write or type in their laptops and check your ears,and your listen to your chest and their done. And right a script for labs and medications and send you on your way. But Doctor Schwartz actually does a full body exam. I was so impressed with her and her staff that I have recommended my sister and fiancé to her and the great news is she is part of their insurance network. So once my sister moves to winter park in two weeks she will be going to doctor Schwartz too.i definitely recommend her especially if you want a doctor that really cares about your health and loves what they do cuz she definitely shows it. Go to Dr Schwartz and dont look anywhere else.

We went to dr schwartz because we needed a primary care doc. She handles my hubbys diabetes, she handled pap smears etc. So, when my husband got a minor ear infection I called to make appt. and the girls in the office said she doesnt handle that and we should go see an ENT doc (ear, nose, throat). Why would I go to a specialist for a minor ear infection. So, we found a new primary care doc and guess what. No problems on the ears. She looked in his ear, saw it was red and prescribed a minor antibiotic ear drop and he is on his way to recovering nicely. Why bother an ENT with that???? Everyone other primary care doc I called said it was strange she wouldnt handle that.....nuf said. Im glad we switched docs.

I have been seeing Dr. Schwartz for over 10 years and have never been happier with the care I have received from her. Compared to other physicians I have seen (poor diagnostic skills to the point of misdiagnosing me several times), Dr. Schwartz is more compassionate, educated, skilled and caring. I especially love her easy going manner, her laid-back personality and her ability to relate to different people. I would recommend Dr. Schwartz to anyone who is looking for a caring, knowledgeable and compassionate Internal Medicine professional.

Very trusting she goes that extra mile to make sure you and your questions are answered but also take the time to figure out and do what most other Drs do not. And thats to take that further step in your health care she never leaves one stones unturned shes that good. Shes also the dr who diagnosed my sister with cancer after numerous Drs couldnt find it. Dr. Schwartz prescribed the wrong meds to my mom and the meds elevated her potassium, and with someone with 45% renal functions you shouldnt do. We switched her to a great Dr. @ CFP Physicians Group up the road. The whole staff @ CFP is wonderful and very kind and never rushed to listen.
