I was highly satisfied with my first visit to Lake Pointe Dental on 4/14/16. I saw Dr. Natasha Lisin-Queen for a routine dental evaluation. She did a thorough examination of my teeth and looked at copies of xrays that my previous dentist had done several months ago. Dr. Lisin-Queens dental hygienist measured the depth of the "pockets" in my gums. Then Dr. Lisin-Queen explained to me that the pockets were very deep, and she recommended that I see a periodontist so that I can receive treatment to prevent problems from these deep pockets. I felt that she really cared about me and that she wanted to make sure that my teeth stayed as healthy as possible. I was also highly satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Lisin-Queens dental assistant. She was very welcoming and helpful. She even gave me sunglasses to wear while I was having my teeth examined so that the bright light would not hurt my eyes. I really appreciated this since my eyes are very sensitive to light. Ive been to many dental offices before, and this was the first time someone gave me sunglasses to wear while I was in the dental chair. It was "above and beyond" what I expected, and it really helped me to feel cared for. Also, the receptionist at the front desk was very pleasant and cheerful when she checked me in. Also, I had called the billing manager several days before my appointment to make sure that my dental plan had changed my "primary dental facility" to Lake Pointe Dental. She was very helpful over the phone. She checked with my dental plan and confirmed that I was all set. Overall, I would say that the care I received from Lake Pointe Dental was excellent.

I had an emergency dental experience (broken tooth) and did not have a regular dentist. I contacted Lake Pointe Dental, and they responded very quickly and arranged to work me in immediately. Even though I didnt have a card for my provider (Met Life), they were able to get everything they needed with a minimum of effort from me, and I was in pain! The office staff were very kind and courteous, and got me back into the service area very quickly. After xrays had been done, I met with Dr. Lisin, who was very knowledgeable and professional and explained clearly to me what my options were. Since I didnt have a regular dentist, I consented to allow them to do a full set of xrays and check my teeth for periodontal disease, and they quickly offered me very reasonable cost estimates for any services I might need later. Back to the business at hand, they were prepared to perform the surgery for me, but discovered that my blood pressure was very high -- I was up all night in pain, and had not taken my blood pressure medication as usual. This narrowed their window considerably, but they quickly contacted another oral surgeon in their complex, Dr. Middleton, who agreed to perform the surgery immediately and it went without a hitch. I was totally impressed by the kindness and professionalism displayed by everyone at Lake Pointe Dental Acworth. My wife and I have been without a regular dentist for a couple of years now -- I think we just found one!!!

I came in about a month ago with pain on the right side of my cheek. I waited less than 5min, then I was walked back by the assistant to get checked. First, let me say that the front desk lady and the assistant were very nice and polite as they greeted me with smiles. In the back, the assistant prepared me to see the doctor and took X-rays. The doctor came in and she talked to me very politely. She checked my teeth and informed me that the lower right side had 2 cavities and one tooth required a crown to be saved. She was very honest as she told me which procedures needed an immediate fix. She also told me about the teeth that needed attention in future procedures but she wanted to address immediate ones first. She was focusing on how to make me feel better and get rid of the pain. I’m very scared of needles, but let me tell you, the doctor was so awesome and professional and light handed that I asked her if she’s going to stick the needle in after she did it. I honestly didn’t feel it. She’s very light with the needle that you feel a light pinch. I got my teeth repaired and the crown in with no pain in the process. The crown looks awesome and identical to my teeth. Overall, awesome, polite, and honest dentists that work here. Thank you very much. I will see you soon.

I love Lake Pointe Dental :) The staff is always polite and friendly. The location is convenient between home and work. Although you cannot precisely just park your boat behind the dentist office for your cleaning, it is very close to Allatoona as the name implies. In all seriousness though, the staff is conscientious of your time, and the office park has plenty of parking and is in a safe area. Specifically on teeth, I have needed multiple fillings since choosing this dentist office as well as root canal work. I have yet to feel pain or have any problems either during the procedures or after. All the other stuff about time and location is nice, but you really cannot ask more than for superb care and painless experiences. I would recommend Lake Pointe Dental to anyone who lives in Acworth or routinely traverses Acworth, like me. :)

Every time I would go to them they would find a new problem. The one dental hygienist I encountered was rude. When she did my deep cleaning I told her I was having some discomfort and she frustratingly just told me "Im almost done" and that it was such a small area that they didnt need to numb me". At the end I asked for my goodie bag (new toothbrush, floss, etc). She didnt realize I saw but she rolled her eyes and reluctantly turned back around to grab the bag out of some drawer. Im not sure if they give certain patients certain bags but all I got was floss. I thought to myself you can keep this. I had a minor filling during this visit as well. I was never sent home with any instructions neither did anyone tell me what to expect at the end of my visit. A few days later I was having pain with anything cold.

I agree with the previous reviewer. Stay away from this place! I and a friend of mine had similar experiences. All these dentists want is your money! Trust me, Ive been to some very good dentists and these guys are horrible! I was told I needed several root canals, re-treats and a filling. I went ahead and got the filling. Ouch! Dr. Ebid was very rough and my tooth hurt for 2 weeks! BTW, they wanted to use the most expensive caps for my root canals and refused to use anything else oher than CAPTEK. My friend was told she needed 4 fillings, (she has never had a cavity in her life). She went to another dr. for a second opinion. Guess what? He said her oral health was perfectly fine! These guys are crooked and do shotty dental work.

I went in for a cleaning, which I didnt get. Instead, I was informed that I had 16 cavities and needed 4 crowns. I hadnt had a cleaning in several years so I was expecting a few cavities but nothing to this extent. $6,000 worth of work separated into 10 different appointments. I was never, ever shown an x-ray or shown where these supposed cavities were. Trusting my instinct, I sought a second opinion from a trusted dentist and was guess what? I only had two small cavities. I didnt need 16 fillings nor did I need a single crown. This practice is so horribly dishonest, they should not have a license. Clearly, they are taking advantage of people on Medicaid or who pay out of pocket. Please, do yourself a favor and stay far away.
