Please do not risk going to Coast Dental. To date I have experienced work that was incorrectly completed, a lack of plan to correct the work, possible insurance fraud, and a lack of action from the Quality Insurance person. Currently the district manager, Ronda, and the Quality Insurance manager, Allison, have refused to return my calls since asking if I need a lawyer to mediate setting an action plan. In May of 2015 I was evaluated by Gleenda Wash, who then worked at Coastal Dental located at 3660 Cascade Rd SW, Suite B, Atlanta, GA 30331. That evaluation determined that needed needed several fiilings. A plan of action was created which stated that I must work on one side at a time and wait for my mouth to "feel normal." During the course of 6 appointments (May 2015-June 2015), I endured Glenda Wash and her hygienist argue and disagree will I am numbed. At one time their disagreement lead to me being left in the chair and having to be re-numbed for her to complete the work. During the course of treatment I stated to Gleenda Wash that my mouth did not feel right and with several teeth I could not get floss between them. Wash responses to my concerns were that I needed to give it time and she used a razor like device to shave in between my teeth. After a couple of months of giving the right side of my mouth "time" to return to normal I began to experience discomfort. I return back to Coast Dental (Cascade) in October/November to be told that Gleenda Wash and the dental hygienist no longer worked for the company. Patrica Gordon-Willis completed a new examination which discovered that all the filling completed by Wash needed to be redone with many of them now requiring crowns and root canals. I notified Gordon-Willis that I was having jaw pain, tooth pain, and the left side of my mouth still needed to be addressed. After a 2 months of back a forward conversations with Coast Dental Cooperate and the district manager they agreed let me see the root canal specialist, Cordela Mills. I was told that Mills would have a background of my issue, however that was the case. Mills did not view my most recent X-rays while she completed her examination was not informed that several teeth now required crowns. She verbal stated that any tooth requiring a crown would possible need a root canal as well, due to the "trauma" that the tooth would experience. She did not make these notations based on the items a received from my requested chart information. After the root canal, Gordon Willis completed the teeth #2,3,4 to be prepared for crowns. When I was set to return for my permeant crowns I was told that Gordon-Willis no longer worked with the company and Diana Tonoukouin would not complete the needed work. Diana Tonoukouin cemented #2 and #3 and have to make corrections for #4 and resent it to the lab because there were gaps. Diana Tonoukouin stated that she would notify me when the permeant crown was ready, however I have not heard anything to date.

The first complaint documented by Ms. Sandra Ridley is completely accurate . Coastal Dental engages in fraudulent practices and pricing . They charge you for procedures which they havent done. Then when you ask the dentist about the descrepency , after youve reviewed the charges shes well versed In her lie. Thanks for reminding me of this incident. Secondly , the receptionist has no customer service skills, but once its brought to her attention she over compensates with ass kissing politeness and attention. Furthermore, The dentist takes no pride in her craft I dont even think shes authorized to do dentures , I wouldnt be surprised if she just knows the bare minimum to get by. When your dentures arent aligned with the line in the middle of the front of your mouth and face not on the left or right , but in the middle. The reason the receptionist is so preoccupied is because they are applying for credit. The credit you apply for pays for their services. Which they up charge to ensure they max out the credit patients apply for. This practice is money hungry and will tell you your dentures are perfect , when in fact you probably look better without them. But unknowing no one wants to be without teeth and this is what they play on. Also do not accept dentures that dont feel or look right because they will try to convince you that your teeth are fine, when in fact , again you look better without them. Finally , DoNot allow them to pressure you into signing the form , for this is how they get paid. At the point of signing this form the Bull!!!! increases because they need the form signed to be paid. This practice is substandard , the dentist lacks integrity and a Love for the craft. This dentist will be shut down shortly they prey on patients and shouldnt be in practice. I have seen better work done at the Veterans Hospital. And they dont hire the best. Just dont patronize these people and please look out for a class action suit for them charging for procedures their actually not doing. Please review the reviews with less stars all are telling the truth. The 5 Stars are because Im relieved that I have exposed these substandard health care providers. Coastal Dental Please dont respond to every comment you look as guilty as you are. Stop making excuses and get a real cosmetic dentist in the office.

My experience with Dr. Glennda Wash and her staff couldnt be described as anything less then amazing. I had been putting off going to the dentist forever due to fear and a very life changing incident which happened to someone close to me as a result of a dental visit. First, my experience at the reception area was relaxing and friendly. The receptionist was personable, very clear and concise, and conversational. She was very approachable and free to address any questions or concerns I might have have. Next, the dental assistants were very reassuring and had wonderful seat side manners. I felt they were patient and considerate when handling me. Dr. Wash herself was just what the Dr. ordered. She was knowledgeable and asked all the right questions. She ensured that she was comfortable with what she was observing, even asking for more xrays just to double check. This is the icing on the cake: Due to some pre-existing health issues I have, I experienced pain at the injection site once the numbing treatment wore off. I called Dr. Washs office in pain and paranoid and was told to come back immediately by a very caring and concerned receptionist. Upon arrival, I was immediately admitted into one of the more private dental treatment areas where Dr. Wash asked questions, re-examined me and patiently explained to me why I was experiencing the pain. Then, her assistant went and got me a hot water compression and held it along my jaw, and sat with me. Dr. Wash also sat with me. She was in and out for updates and reassurance. Sure enough, I left with the pain practically gone and some instructions. Now get this: Dr. Wash called me in the morning to check on me because she worried about me overnight! Wow! I have never had this kind of professional and personal care before. I feel blessed to have finally found my dental home. I thank all of them for taking such amazing care of me.
