I was given inaccurate information by the doctor. I was told I could get my glasses that day, after coming in with a dilated pupil. When I asked the doctor how long my pupil would be dilated she said "at least a week, but you can go ahead and get your glasses today". I went ahead and picked out my glasses only to be told I would receive them in 7 business days. To add to my experience the doctor was very rude and short with me during my visit. The experience was very uncomfortable. I ended up going to lens crafters and spending $300 on a pair of glasses the next day because I needed to be able to see. My insurance benefits were used at eye specialists of GA on the glasses I am still waiting for so I had to pay mostly out of pocket. Heres where it gets crazy. I received an email survey and detailed my experience. A week later I called and asked about my glasses only to be told by the receptionist that they would not be here until next week. I asked to speak to anyone with authority and she told me I couldnt and that the people who owned the place were the doctors, she said her managers and supervisors were the doctors. She said I absolutely could not talk to them. I told her they could at least reach out to me, and to my surprise the doctor called me shortly after my convo with the receptionist. The doctor didnt call me to apologize. She called me to ask why I didnt tell her I was setting up a follow up with my normal eye doctor instead of her. She then asked me the name of the doctor I saw instead of her- which I am not sure is in compliance with HIPAA law. She told me that anything that happens at lens crafters isnt her problem and tried to convince me to take down the review (the survey I sent via email). She repeatedly asked me to take it down. And she kept asking me if I fully understood how I was treated. Im assuming she thought I was mistaken by my own experience and I kept telling her I was not going to take it down because that was truly my experience. I was on the phone call for 9 minutes and during that time she didnt apologize, she only tried to bully me into taking my review down. I actually had to end the call myself, as politely as I could because she wasnt letting up. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Any professional medical office would address this. eye specialists of GA should understand that it is not right to bully and lie to their patients. I went to their website and found out the CEO of eye specialists of GA is not one of the doctors I saw. Adding to my frustration because it is now even more clear that I was blatantly lied to. My next step is contacting Ine of the many clinic and business office managers listed on their website - that is, if they choose not to lie to me when I call and ask for their information.

I have been a patient at Eye Specialist of Georgia for the past two years, and I am completely satisfied with the care provided by Dr. Nassar and all of his staff. They truly put effort in ensuring that you are treated like family all thorughout the visit. I have family members that are Spanish speakers, and have had difficulty in the past finding an eye care provider that caters to their native language - Dr. Nassar always has someone on staff in all departments that is able to assist my family during their appointments.
