If I could give this practice a negative star, I would. I walk in today, 10/16 at 11:22a for my sons appointment that is just for a 2 week - weight check. His appointment is at 11:30. I sign in and pay the copay for the visit. Were waiting and called in the room at 11:49. I keep looking at my phone for the times because theres no one in the waiting room and the parking lot if empty. The tech takes my babys vitals and leaves at 12:02. I let minutes go by... Then a half hour.. Now, its 12:33 and my son has woken up and is hungry and screaming again. No one comes in to say the doctor will be in shortly or shes busy.. So, I soothe him and he quiets down and rests. He has fits on and off for about ten minutes and I wait until 12:50 and put his clothes on. Now, its 12:53 and I see no doctor in sight. So, I go to my car and feed my son. I look at the door and it says, "closed for lunch 12:00-2:00". I instantly become more livid than I already am.. Im mad because we waited so long to NOT see anybody, there was some other patients blood on the room wall AND I walk outside and see this dumb sign.. So, is that why we were waiting for damn near an hour before I had to leave? Smh. Time to find a new pediatrician.. And I will be calling and speaking to someone once I calm down. Smh. So disgusted.

Dr. Osunkoya is great, but the front office makes this pediatric office unbearable. The nurse told us during my childs scheduled vaccination visit that theyd run out of a vaccine. She administered 3/4 of the routine vaccines we came for, and told us to come back the next day for the final vaccination. As we scheduled an appointment for the next day, the office staff member said if for some reason they did not get the final vaccine in, he would call us so we wouldnt waste a trip. The next day we arrived on time, and waited 30 minutes in the waiting room before office staff told us they didnt have the vaccine we were there for, and they wouldnt have it for weeks. The office manager didnt seem to understand why this was unacceptable.

Choosing a new pediatrician was a bit nerve wrecking but my arrival at Decatur Pediatric Group brought me a sense of calm. The sign-in process was expeditious and up to date technologically and the nurse that took my childs vitals was congenial. When the Doctor arrived, shortly after, she was very respectful of my interests and gentle with my LO. My questions were answered and I was given a briefing on what I should look forward to in the coming months. The icing on the cake though was THE BOOK. YOU GET ONE EVERY VISIT UNTIL THEY ARE FIVE!!! What?? Now thats what Im talking about. We read regularly and we will continue to build our library just by going to the Drs office. Thank you Dr. Davidson. See you in a few iA.

My kids love going here and I love to bring them here. The doctors are very knowledgeable and have plenty of patients. The nurses are even better, we love Mrs. Bridgette to death. The front office personnel go out of there way to accommodate me and my family. One time I had my appointment dates mixed up and they worked us in anyways. One time I came as a walk in when my daughter was sick, but all the walk in appointments had been taken and they decided to see her anyways. I have to say that if you are looking for a great pediatrician this is a place to bring your children too. And I love the fact that they are open 6 days a week with extended ours and 3 locations.

My children have been coming to Decatur Pediatric Group for three years. They love coming to the practice. About two years ago my son was experiencing some behavioral issues at school and at home. I was able to express those concerns with the doctor and they were addressed immediately. He has made a complete turn around, he has managed to make honor roll all year round and has displayed a great change in his behavior. He sees Dr. Osunkoya an he likes her very much. She is very detailed, listens to all my concerns and questions and is always very informative. I would recommend Decatur Pediatric group to anyone needing superb service for their children.

This has been my childs pediatric group for years.. But today i was particularly impressed. J. is on the autism spectrum and the well child appt. holds a great deal of stress for him. He has sensory issues and many times flat out refuses to participate with even the most simple check up procedures. With much coaching and a great deal of support from the fine nurses and p.a.s there we got almost everything accomplished. I wanted to specifically give a shout out to them and the doctor for their patience and fortitude in light of a very difficult exam. They made me feel better and were complimentary of my efforts to calm and help him.. HIGH PRAISE.

They overcharged me $350.00 + because their medical billers are incompetent and couldnt figure out how to confirm through my private insurance carrier website what my deductible was even though I provided them access to my online benefits website. This happened twice so be aware!

The best doctors in town by far. It feels like family here. Everyone from the front office to the back office goes out of their way to accommodate their patients....I know that as a mother, its always felt like family here.
