I’d been a patient of Dr. Orris for many years and needed to schedule my annual physical. I spoke to Patti to set the appointment. I let her know up-front that the appointment time was tough and I may need to reschedule. She said “no problem just let us know” and that’s all. The morning of my appointment I was called into work so I called to reschedule. I was and I am truly sorry that I couldn’t give them more notice. The receptionist was arrogant, condescending and rude. She treated me like a child and said “well just so you know you gonna have to pay a cancellation fee”. WHAT? That was NEVER MENTIONED WHEN I SET MY APPOINTMENT OR IN THE EMAIL REMINDER. The email reminder exactly states: ‘If you are unable to make this appointment, it is important that you call us as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements’. I told the receptionist this and she couldn’t care less. I asked to speak to Patti “Patti, I told you about my circumstances and that I might need to change my appointment time. You could’ve told me there’s an appointment cancellation fee but you didn’t. Why didn’t you tell me this when we first talked?” Patti became hostile and defensive. She literally yelled at me! “We have over 4500 patients and I don’t have the time to tell everyone I speak to about cancellation fees and besides it’s in your new patient paperwork!!” REALLY? You mean the paperwork I filled out 7 years ago?!? I love Dr. Orris and the nurse but I won’t be yelled at and abused by irresponsible, manipulative office staff. The whole experience was a nightmare. They’re deceptive and shady. No thanks, I’ll find a new doc.

Dr. Orris is a great doctor. Takes a lot of time with his patients. The reason for 2 stars is his GOD AWFUL office personnel. ESPECIALLY his billing person. I was sent a pretty harsh letter about my balance due and was threatened with collections and all sorts of nastiness. The egregious amount that I was dodging? Glad you asked, it was SIX FRIGGING DOLLARS! I just figured I would pay it next time I went in but that was not good enough for the billing Gestapo. So now I am looking for a new doctor because nothing is worth dealing with THAT bullcrap.

The Doctor is great. But the staff is rude and uncaring. I will never be back. They threatened me and have twisted my words around. The whole front staff and office manager are rude. They talk down to the patients and it is not right. I have been a patient there for many years and can no longer handle the attitudes from the office staff. I have had to find a new doctor.

A very caring physician. Very nice staff who always seem to be happy to help you. Trust this doctor and his abilities. He takes the time to listen to you and makes recommendations as to your care that make a lot of sense. I know this because my daughter is a doctor and she speaks highly of Dr. Orris and thats good enough for me.

Love, Love ,Love this practice. They listen, spend time with you, know who you are and are truly there to help!. My mother has VaD and Dr. Orris spends a great deal of time with her and talks to her as an adult, not like a child. We wont go anywhere else!!!!! And he will call you back! Thank you for your kindness!

On my first visit Dr Orris spent mor time with me than my old Dr had in the last 5 years. I wish I hadnt waited so long to change.
