I have been with this practice for 9 years and have had several instances where the doctors have ignored the fact that I am the parent and know my children. When I had my youngest daughter, one of the doctors came to my room and strongly suggested that I start breast feeding right away. I explained that I was hurting from surgery and that I would "pump" when my milk let down in about 3 days. She said, "Well, I guess your breasts dont follow the medical books." This was my 3rd child and I was pretty knowledgeable as to how this all worked. This Doctor had never had a baby. I wont bother to explain further how this is not go over well. Since this was a large practice, I decided to go with ANOTHER doctor and much preferred to see the nurse practitioner. When my son was 2, he was BARELY talking and VERY unclear with the few words he tried to say. I took him to see Dr. Huque. I wanted my son EVALUATED for speech therapy. He gave me some ho-hum about children developing differently and dont worry about it and refused to give me a script for a basic eval. I was furious, as I WORK with pediatric therapists and they had already told me he needed an evaluation. Thank God for our Babies Cant Wait Program.....my son got help and they taught ME how to help him. There are many more, but heres the one that made me change practices.....I have been giving my children Vitamin D for about 2 years to help boost their immune systems. They have been the healthiest in their lives. I asked that their D levels be checked (this is important) and the FIRST doctor refused to do the test and said they really didnt need these supplements since they drink milk. OK...Vit D in milk is D2 and synthetic. I give my children natural D3. I also know these 2 can be broken down in the test. Another year passed and I asked again for the test explaining that periodic testing was necessary when taking these supplements. This time the doctor said, "Well, then stop taking the supplements." WHAT???? I have done due diligence in researching Vit D out......clearly they have not. They must not even watch the main stream media, because this information is EVERYWHERE. Changed doctors.

Creekside is horrible! Dr. Huque doesnt care anything about his patients! All he cares about is money and not his patients health. We have a 7 year old daughter who has been going there since she was a newborn. However, when we took our 2 month old daughter for her check-up we were treated like new patients. Upon arrival, we were told that her insurance was inactive and that they would not be able to see our daughter. Keep in mind we have never had any outstanding balances and they had just seen our new baby for her 1 week and 1 month check-ups. At that point I called the insurance company and they informed Creekside that the problem would be fixed ASAP and asked if they could make an exception and still see my daughter. Dr. Huque refused! They also could not reschedule her appointment because Dr. Huque was booked for the rest of the month. Then about 2 weeks later we took our baby for a sick visit after she refused to eat. By then the insurance was back active. We waitied for about 30 minutes to be seen. Dr. Huque was not available and the nurse could not figure out what was wrong. No one at the office seemed concerned. Our precious 2 and 1/2 month old baby died later that day at Douglas Wellstar after she went into sudden cardiac arrest. My heart aches deeply and I just keep thinking that maybe if Dr. Huque had seen her for her 2 month check-up he may have been able to detect/diagnose something then. Creekside has not reached out to us about the passing of our precious baby girl and we are in the process of finding another pediatrician for our oldest daughter. I would definitely NOT recommend this office to anyone! Please do not take your children there!

We have been patients of Creekside since my 2 year old was born. We now have a 3 month old, as well. We have had nothing but positive experiences here. From well checks to sick visits every nurse practitioner and doctor we have seen has not only been knowledgeable, but empathetic, caring, and shown genuine interest in our children and there well being. The lactation specialist, Denise Adams, was amazing and helped me with any questions and concerns when it came to breastfeeding and what was best for our child. She is a huge resource to any newborn mother! The front office staff is always so friendly and we are always greeted with a smile. The advice nurse always returns my phone call promptly when one of them is not feeling well. They listen objectively to the symptoms and only make appointments when necessary (not just automatically to get a co pay out of us). Making an appointment is always easy and we are seen the same day. Our wait time is reasonable and are in and out within an hour even during sick visits. We plan on staying here until both of our daughters age out. We recommend to all of our friends and family.

I was with this practice for 7 years with both my children and I was treated like a first time customer. I started to have some issues with this office scheduling appointments for my children then changing them without notifying me. One of the receptionist contacted me to tell me that we were no longer welcomed at their practice because we continued to miss scheduled appointments. I asked them to pulol up how long I been with them and how many appointments I missed. I explained what the problem was and let her know that I couldnt come to an appointment that you changed from the orignal date and didnt notify me of. She stateed it wasnt their problem. I said it must be some miscommunication on your office part. She said no we did it correctly. I said I was not going to keep going back and forth with them about mistakes their office keep making and I changed practices. I was really disappointed with the way their office handled the problem even after they seen that the dates were changed on their part and out of 7 years 3 appointments were missed because of them. I did not appreciate the treatment of so called professionals.

I LOVE taking my daughter to Creekside! About three days after she was born, she stopped latching at the breast. I had not even been seen once, and I called the office around 3:30 pm and left a message with the lactation consultant. She called me back very quickly, and I was able to come in the same afternoon! She was amazing, and I was able to see her probably 7-8 times over the next two weeks. My daughters main doctor is Dr. Huque, and he is amazing too! I have not had any problems getting an appointment on the same day when baby girl is sick. I have not waited longer than I have at any other doctors office. For a well visit, Im typically in and out in about 1 hour, and for a sick visit maybe 1 hour to 1.5 hours. I trust them with my daughter, and I would recommend them to others.
