At first i thought this place was great. Doctor told me i needed 3 teeth pulled, and theres one we need to get out asap but we have to wait on insuance to approve. Ok i was fine with that! Got approved, well the tooth in the back has an infection. My tooth is hurting (had to call in to work it was hurting so bad). Called GAinesville Dental Center to see if they could call some medication in for the infection and pain they told me NO. Mind you they said the worse one was in the back and i need to get it taken care of asap because it was a life threatening situation. I had to call my Health Doctor office to get medication for the infection. Then i was suppose to go get it pulled on 5/22/17, on my way there they called and said due to the storm we are closing at 3 (my appt was at 330). I was like ok, can you please call me in something for the infection and pain, they told me NO over and over. Even when my mom tried to explain the importance of medication that i needed. I Recommend please dont go there.

Went here ... After waiting 2 months for an appointment... Drove 2 hours to get here gave them my insurance over the phone and they said everything looks great and they wil see me at my appointment.. Well i go and they tell me when i get there..since im not pregnant anymore i have to switch my medicaid over from pregnanacy medicaid.... So i leave and go do that and switch it over... And rescheduled an appointment for A MONTH later. So i go to that appointment and when i get there i get my xrays done and then wait for the dentist. He finally comes and sees me .... And tells me i need 6 CROWNS on my front 6 teeth. K9 to k9... Doesnt even look in my mouth or anything thing... And walks out of the room???? WHAT?!?! Yes . and each tooth costs $900. Okay. Lol . So as i have anxiety for a month trying every way to come up with the money... I go get a second opinion... And come to find out i only need fillings.... He is a liar and just out for money... Do NOT ... I repeat DO NOT go here.

The dentists and assistants are really nice, but the front desk people are the rudest people youll ever meet. (dont even get me started) but one day, many people came in for an appointment, so everyone was rushing and I came home to a SWOLLEN mouth, my mouth had been cut at the roof of my mouth and under my tongue due to the bulky, pointy, x-ray thing shoved in my mouth, and two cavities that hadnt been bothering me before, started to bother me because they had poked at it constantly. Not going back after being treated so rudely. Nice at first, but its been a week, my gums are still swollen, the cuts are swollen, and I can no longer eat comfortably with my cavities opened up more :/

Not even my dentist.. but my daughters. I have never been made feel as second class. Belittled. Downgraded. And shunned by ANY MEDICAL GROUP EVER. AS BAD AS THESE PEOPLE MADE ME FEEL. as a parent. It is my job to check on my kid. While getting services.. well not here. How dare u step thru the door.. how dare you come in this room.. App was at 3:50pm Called me at noon. Asked us to come in early due to dentist needing to leave early.. be here at 2:50... was here at 215. And still wasnt seen till 3:20... VERY VERY UNHAPPY WITH ATTITUDES AND LACK OF PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION.. WONT BE BACK

If it was an option, id put ZERO stars. This place is so unprofessional!! I have left several messages trying to find out if insurance has approved my extractions for my 3 ABSESS TEETH, called every day for 2 WEEKS & they havent even had the decency to return my call or ANYTHING. F this place. Horrible people. How can "professionals" allow someone to be in so much pain & not even TRY to do anything about it or at least return a phone call?

My family of 6 has been receiving dental services from Smiles on Main and Gainesville Dental Center for over 5 years and we have been nothing but satisfied with the entire team as well as the ease of insurance since they take so many providers in-network. They also use state of the art equipment and maintain a very clean and esthetically pleasing environment. 5 years and I cant think of a negative thing to say!

In the office everything went smoothly. Got my tooth pulled and the referred me to an oral surgeon. But after setting up the appointment and waiting 2 months for the oral surgeon, Gainesville dental group all but tool back their referral to a procedure they had agreed upon. 2 months and 3 hours wasted. Not to mention a day of work. Thanks but no thanks.

Dr Patel is very unprofessional and untrustworthy. Dr Patel took my money at a previous clinic and never completed the service. I have been trying to reach him for 3 years now but have been unsuccessful because his is not return calls or emails. Beware.. he will take your money and close down a few months after.
