Had a fantastic experience as a new patient to Embree Dentistry. The front office staff was kind and helpful, even providing me with a disposable toothbrush to clean up before my appointment as I had forgotten mine at home that morning. Geraldine explained everything they were going to do that day, such as going over my medical and dental history, taking x-rays, checking the shade of my teeth, checking the periodontal pockets, as well as looking for tooth decay and problem areas. Up to this point in my life, I had been thinking Id never had a cavity, but Dr. Embree found a small spot on one of my molars that looked to have a resin filling. I checked back with my mom about this and she recalled a small filling I had done at about 20 years of age. Whoops! Guess it wasnt too bad as I couldnt even remember it. It was nice that Dr. Embree sat down with me to go over all my history information, and explained each part of the exam and what they were looking for. She took a few photos of areas they think may develop into cavities in the coming years that they want to monitor as well. Overall, my experience was very pleasant and informative. All of the staff were kind, courteous and helpful, the office was very clean and well-organized, and I felt comfortable and well-cared for. I am so pleased to have found my Ann Arbor Dentist!

I have been frightened of the dentist since I was young. There was always pain, frustration and no one was ever happy. I reached the point where I had to take medication to calm me down just to step into a dental office. My fear was severe enough my husband had to take time off work to drive me so I would be able to get there safely. My experience with Dr. Embree and her staff is different. I told them of my fears and they agreed to work with me at my speed. They let me be in control of my appointment. They smile, joke and talk with me. Dr, Embree tells new people working on me "the rules", that if I need a break I will signal for it and they will give me one. They realize that my fear is not unusual, but I am facing it and with them working with me I can deal. Occasionally there is pain, but that is the exception not the rule. Today I am able to go in without needing calming medication, meditation or music to focus on. I am taking myself to treatments and actually looking forward to talking to the staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful and willing to work with me. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs or has the fear of the dentist. To me, they work miracles.

I have been going to Dr. Embrees office for years and love the care I receive from the whole staff. I had bad experiences with dental visits as a child, which always kept me on edge as an adult for any dental work. However, years ago as soon as I walked into Dr. Embrees office, I was immediately put at ease and now have no issues or anxiety about my visits, no matter if its a cleaning or more extensive procedure. Dr. Embree and staff are absolutely wonderful and let the patient know exactly what is happening at all times and explain in detail what would be next steps. I cannot say enough about how much of a relief it is to a patient. I work in the healthcare field and I wish all medical facilities had this type of patient-focused care. I highly recommend Dr. Embree and staff, they are truly unique in the healthcare dental arena!

My teeth cleaning appointment today with Deb (RDH) was wonderful. She listens, cares, and actually pays attention to you and your concerns as the patient. I have specific tooth sensitivity issues and she is always attentive, patient and has great techniques when cleaning my teeth. She takes as much time as needed, never rushes & I trust her implicitly with my professional dental care. Dr. Embree is equally as friendly, skilled, & attentive, and provides thorough explanations as to what treatment options are available, and what would work best for your individual needs. She has a clean, professional office which is comfortable and provides the latest in dental equipment for all procedures. All of the staff at Embree Dentistry are wonderful, kind, and want the best possible dental experience for all their patients.

Check this place out! Three years ago I got into an accident and had extensive work done on my mouth/ jaw. I was looking for a local dentist when I was fortunate enough to come across Dr. Embree. She is amazing! Due to the accident I was simply dreading having to spend more time in the dentist and was so nervous; at first, I was actually shaking sitting in the dentist chair. Dr. Embree is incredible at her job and I am amazed at what a beautiful smile I have now. She takes time so you understand options/ procedures, makes sure you are comfortable, and is a perfectionist at her job. Plus, the staff members are great- friendly and efficient. I have been at Dr. Embree’s for over a year and have had quite a bit of work done. I highly recommend this office!

Typically I neither dread nor look forward to going to the dentist. My experience at Dr. Embrees office was not typical. They spotted a problem that had been missed by other offices before it got out of hand. Ive been in and out of Embrees dentistry a lot lately and have found a hygienist who I like a lot. When this happens, it changes the experience completely! I still have more appointments to go to finish the job that was started but Im happy to know Ill be scheduled with Deb from now on. She takes the extra time to make sure youre comfortable and that all your questions are answered. Shes down to earth and wont talk over your head in dental jargon. Deb rocks!

Embree dentistry is wonderful! I came in for a regular check-up and clean, and the dentists and assistants were all extremely kind and professional, not to mention fast. My check-up took less than an hour, and they were able to schedule a next-day appointment for several fillings. When I came in the next day for the fillings and a cleaning, both appointments took an hour (together). Ive never been to a dentist that was so quick and thorough, without compromising on quality. What is more, the administrative staff knew the ins-and-outs of my insurance deeply, making it easy for me to make appropriate decisions. I cant recommend them enough!

Dr. Embree and her staff provided me the best dentistry Ive ever had. I had a lot of work done, including several fillings and three crowns. Dr. Embree is very careful to make the procedures as painless as possible, and her staff made sure that my experiences were comfortable and stress free. Dr. Embree did a deep cleaning that Im sure allowed me to avoid periodontal work. Her staff is very efficient in setting up appointments and sending reminders. I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Embrees dentistry.
