DO NOT GO HERE!! My husband had strep and it was the only place open that night except for the ER. We have insurance but they said they were unable to verify it since it was after hours. We paid the $150.00 office visit and were told to call back the next day with our insurance info and then they would get that imputed and get our refund processed. He was seen in their office the first week of FEB. it is now the middle of JULY and we still have not gotten a check. I called the day after he was seen and gave them our insurance info. She said that they would get it processed and we should have a check the beginning of April. I have them until the end of April. I started calling the billing dept the beginning of May I left prob 10 messages over the course of a couple weeks. Never got a call back. I finally left another message on a Friday I believe and got a call back the beginning of the following week. As you can expect at this time I was becoming very frustrated. I work in the customer service field for a online retailer and dont like to be rude to people that work in this field since I know how it feels but you get to a point that you have to do something to get someones attention. The lady that called me back never gave me any information and always told me she would have to find out some info about our status and call us back. It was always the Insurances fault. I then learned that when I called in FEB to have the insurance imputed it was never done. It was not submitted to insurance until the end of MAY. The insurance company finalized and paid the claim a couple days after they submitted it. Patricia never returned my calls when she said she would which meant I was having to call her back and leave additional messages that never got returned. Not good customer service at all. Every time I spoke with her she was always complaining about how much work was on her desk. Also not professional. I was finally transferred to the "manager" GIGI. She was also not professional at all. She was rude and interrupted me the entire time I was on the phone with her trying to explain the entire situation with me trying to get my refund. I finally had to tell her that I was trying to explain something and that I was speaking so she needed to just listen for a moment. After going round and round with her one afternoon the middle of June and letting her know that I talked to my insurance company and that they had paid the claim over a month before she told me I would have a check the beginning of JULY. I still have NOTHING!!! They have been paid for his one visit twice. I have called GIGI twice over the past 3 days and left messages and have not gotten a return call. I cant believe this place is still in business with the people that they have representing their company. I will never be back again and would love to have my money back. I should not be waiting on a refund from FEB still. These people are very dishonest and do not do what they say they are going to do. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB

Two nights ago we noticed that our son had a very high fever that we were not able to break. I got home from work at 8 and I got to the urgent care at 8:30. The receptionist gave me the paperwork and I filled it out in ten minutes. When I brought it back up to the desk along with the copay she was in the back. She came back up to the front at 8:55. She then asks for the copay. I give her a $100 bill and she tells me that they dont have change. I say ok, can you split the payment between credit and cash, she told me no that she would loose her job. I am a resident of Hiram and I live right across the street from the facility so I called someone to bring me the money. She looks at the time and says Im sorry but it is now 9:00pm. I proceed to say to her that you have not called my son in as of yet and I have been here since 8:30, someone is going to bring the money to me. She says no, the Dr (Dr. Kerry L. Nagel, DO) cant wait. I then say to her please work with me, my son, who is 2 years old is sick, he needs to be seen. Throughout this whole time I am not screaming at this lady and she says to me please stop talking to me like that. I am now standing in front of her in tears because I cant believe that she is turning me away. Then this tops it all off, she then says please leave or I will call the cops to have you removed. All of this because I wanted my son to be seen and they were ready to go. I took my son to his pediatrician today because the symptoms were getting worse and it turned out that he had the flu. This could have been attacked on Thursday night but because of this place it was not. I should have listened to the reviews that stated "Avoid this location if you expect to be treated in a respectful manner." "Terrible experience at this location." Something needs to change.

I had a horrible experience at this facility. I arrived, paid my copay, and waited patiently. I was called back after about an hour of waiting (which isnt terrible) and taken to the medical assistants room which she clearly sprayed with an obscene amount of fragrance before I walked in, which caused my already irritated sinuses and throat to flare up. I was then taken to a separate room and waited for 1.5 hours without anyone coming in to check on me or give me a status. I finally left without seeing the doctor and demanded my money back. I went back the next day (big mistake) because I couldnt get a new patient appointment near my home. While the wait was not long, the service was deplorable. The doctor spent all of 3 minutes with me and spoke at a pace that was difficult to understand. She recommended a medicine for pain without giving me any information about what it was, simply stating that a pharmacy would contact me within 24 hours. My other prescriptions (inhaler/antibiotic/crap cough medicine) were never called in or sent electronically as promised and I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get them. When I called and advised that they never received them, the woman at the front said, "well, they wouldnt have printed if they didnt send." She finally acknowledged her error AFTER asking me for the pharmacy name and location again. HOURS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT. Avoid this place if you need actual care.

Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago for strep and allergies. It was about an hour and 15 minute wait, (it was around lunch time) doctor was in quickly and recommended 2 shots. Girl came in and administered shots, asked me to sit for a few minutes in case I passed out, came back in and said I was good to go. On the way out I asked if there was anything else I was supposed to recieve, they said no, thats it. Three days later I have a negative reaction to the steroids, call and give symptoms and ask if they are normal side effects, to which receptionist says no but I can come back in to be seen. Get opinion from doctor not at this practice who says side effects are definitely from the steroids (also right there on the medicines website) I wound up waiting it out and felt better. Over a week later I get a call from my pharmacy telling me my prescription is ready. What prescription? No one told me I was being prescribed anything. Still have bad strep. Call immediate med to make sure and receptionist tells me to go ahead and take the prescription which was a good call because now finally two weeks later I am feeling way better. I say all that to say that each individual I dealt with had their pros and cons and that they just need to cross their Ts and dot their Is. Overall not the worst medical experience of my life and I would return in a pinch now that I know how to deal with them.
