Had Dr. Appt May 2017, received a message that it was canceled. OK, tried several times calling, no response. OK. Went today in person for a new appt, was told no appt until the form is filled, OK. Have a Vets Health Card with all my information, OK. Filled out the form today, Friday 09 Jun 17, did not know my sons street name, sorry, you need to bring back form with all needed information, OK. I told the young lady, three other people with her in front desk, OK. "this form is about ME. not my son, I feel that you do not want me in this office", come on man! She gave me an appt for Jun 27, 2017. OK. I have never felt this way about this facility! What are you VA, hiring people that do NOT want to work, only collect a paycheck??Am I wrong? She was so COLD towards me!! Love, a good VET!!

I wish there were 0 stars because that is what this place would get. My husband has a doctor that would not even look at his medical records. He stated that he would not trust other doctors, so he will start my husband back at square one. Which included starting him on medications we know do not work. Also stopped medications that can send his body into shock for stopping so quickly! Also when trying to write out a formal complaint on the doctor, we were unable to. They refused to let us talk to a manager to do so. In the process of trying to switch to a different primary care provider but so far we are unable to due to wrong numbers given to us for patient advocate. This is a horrible experience and I hope this doctor never touches another veteran again.

going down hill. was good a few years ago, but since they have moved into the new facility, my service gets worse every time I go. There is a HUGE parking problem!! There is not enough space for the people arriving for appointments. Although there is more room to park in the same attatched parking lot, VA patients are not allowed to park there. There was a guy whose job it was to keep VA patients from parking in the parking lot infront of Kieser next door. The guy even followed a vet into the clinic to make sure he knew he was not allowed to park there. Hes going to pick the wrong vet one of these times

I think the primary care docs went to med school but went the front and straight out the back door. Dr Onahu wouldnt do anything himself. He just pushed you on to someone at the main hospital. I saw a Doctor about an ear infection. It didnt go away. My primary said there was no more he could and wrote a consult to ENT at main Hospital, which my appt. It was 2 months away. I used my private insurance and 2 days later I saw my private Dr a week later I was well My private Dr said If I had waited I would have had permanent Hearing loos Treatment at the VA is abysmal, Except for Mental Health

I was exposed to radiation at Hiroshima, Japan in 1945. The VAs decision on my claim was mailed to Mr. Kicklighter. He made no attempt to contact me regarding that decision and has not returned my five phone calls and e-mails regarding this issue. He just stonewalled the matter. I can not get any help from him and will have to seek legal assistance with this matter. The fact that I am 90 years of age and find it difficult to contend with this persons indifference is of no concern to him.

The staff and lab are quite good 4-5 stars, BUT Dr. Onuoha is unprofessional, quite unpleasant, short fused and has issues. I used Myhealthvet Secure Messaging and filed a detailed complaint about Onuohas lack of professionalism using the General Inquiry message form asking for a new Doctor and was transferred to another very quickly. Kudos to them!

Other that a shortage of parking, this clinic is pretty top notch. I hear claims in the news of such horrible treatment towards Veterans, and yet my experience here has been nothing but professional. Helpful and politely friendly. Dr B. The lady doc who runs the place is also a great doctor and her staff seem on point.

I would give this place 0 stars if giving the chance, those nasty front desk clerks are a disgrace in the hospitality business, if they spent half the energy helping out with veterans questions instead of chit chatting with each other, more work will get down, by far worst VA office around the area.

Best experience I have had in the VA system. The front greeter is very nice. Dr. Kahn and her nurse are two of the best in the entire VA system. More parking needed but overall this is a really good spot for Vets.

Ive always had a good experience in this facility. Doctors are good and the turnaround is quite fast compared to the main hospital in Decatur. Overall a good experience but youll face issues with parking.

Since i have been home from Afghanistan i have had to see Dr. Tran. He has listen to all my medical needs and have been very helpful in getting me the correct treatment i need. He is a GREAT DR.
