I have been going here for over 11 years, I love Dr. Miller, but his wife the office manager is very rude and is a huge downfall to this business! I have always taken my kids to my regular cleaning appointments, they are good while they are there, I take portable TVs for them to watch and they are usually very quiet, they just have to step out while I get x-rays. No one has EVER said anything to me about taking them, in fact they usually dote over how good they are. All three of my kids have all sat in my lap as newborns while getting my teeth cleaned. Until yesterday, Mrs. Miller (the office manager) said Id have to call someone to come watch my kids. I told them when I confirmed my appt. that they would be with me and b/c I had an appt for one of my sons and I had to leave on time. That receptionist would not make eye contact with me the whole time the office manager was yelling at me, I guess she knew I did tell her. Though she lied to Mrs. Miller and said "she never said that" I explained that I have always brought my kids, she said "well maybe there has been a policy change" I asked well has there? She said I cant say for sure.....WHAT if she is the office manager she can say for sure. She kept saying "I"m sorry YOU dont understand" She said I cant take the crying baby back there. I said if youd let me finish setting up his TV he wont be crying anymore and hes 3, not a baby. No you have to reschedule, NO I said how about I get my records I will NOT be going back there again. Its a shame because I really like DR. MILLER, he should really consider getting someone other than his wife as office manager. Things have really changed there in the last couple of years, no one is the same that Ive seen, and the atmosphere there is completely different. I would NEVER recommend them again.

I love going to the dentist. Not just any dentist...my dentist! There are many reasons I can give as to why I remain loyal to Dr. Larry H. Miller, in Marietta. But one of the most important reasons is the personal care I receive, consistently! Last year I had a problem with an abcessed tooth and it was on the weekend...I called and left a message one afternoon with Dr. Millers answering service...within minutes my call was returned, antibiotics were called in and when I hadnt felt any better by that Saturday evening, Dr. Miller cut his weekend at the lake short in order to meet me at his office to start a root canal. That was my 1st root canal ever, so one can imagine the fear I felt not knowing what to expect! I cant tell you how much I appreciated Dr. Millers time that evening. He was in no rush to get it started....he waited as long as he needed for the numbing medication to take effect so that he could start the process. It was important to Dr. Miller that I was comfortable, first and foremost! For that, I am so grateful. Beside the fact that Dr. Miller is an artist when it comes to cosmetic dentistry, his entire staff is #1 when it comes to providing professional and personalized service. It is not often that you will hear someone say "I look forward to going to the dentist office"! Thats because most dentist or dental offices are not like Dr. Larry H. Miller and his staff. The best part about the office is the spa like atmosphere. They actually have skin care and spa services available, so having the opportunity to be pampered while you are there is a huge plus! I always have a great time and feel like Im around family when I go for an appointment. Simply said, I think Dr. Miller and his staff are the best!

After finding a "small" cavity and filling it, it turned out that the filling he placed was shaped like a cone and cracked the tooth. On previous visits, the staff was polite, but after explaining what had happened and asking to get the problem fixed, they became dismissive. I asked to talk to the doctor and was told I could not. I said I would wait, and they said I could not. The absolutely elitist attitude is palpable in that office...as long as you are there to pay money, youre treated fine...the first issue you have and you are completely non-existent. I was in extreme pain from a filling two days prior, and they refused anything but an appointment the following week...maybe..."let me check". The kid took over the practice from the previous dentist, whom I enjoyed going to since I was a teen. It is a shame this punk has lost so many of the old clients this way...the care that the previous dentist had was not passed on to his poorly-trained monkey of a replacement. They have also taken to sending the first bill covered in bright orange stickers with Pay Immediately on them, and the letter inside sounded like it was written by an angry fourth grader. It was the FIRST BILL. The ONLY bill...I paid them off quickly and ran like the dickens. You would be better off with a string tied to a doorknob, or a pair of pliers. This kid doesnt know what hes doing.

Dr. Miller himself is great. However Patty the front desk lady was extremely rude to me and accused me of not showing up for appointments three time within 8 months. I have called to reschedule appointment a few times because I work and would squeeze in appointments during my lunch. When I asked to reschedule this morning she laughed and began to fuss at me as if I were a child and when I addressed the situation by asking for a new appointment time or to find a new dentist, she continued to fuss at me until I finally agreed that I would no longer need their services and hung up. I really liked my visited there until I noticed how rude and racist the staff are. Too bad for Dr, Miller because he really is a great dentist but he really needs new front desk staff. STAY AWAY!!!!

I have been going to see Dr.Miller for many years now. I have never had any problems, period. The receptionist has always been very friendly & I have always been able to get an appointment when needed. We all know that is not easy with any doctors office! Everytime I have been in the office, all of the staff have been very friendly. I always used to hate going to the dentist for fillings, but not with Dr. Miller. He makes the experience as quick & pain free as possible. Now they even have a spa & it is absolutely beautiful! My wife has been to see Patti for her waxing services & couldnt stop talking about how great the spa was. She loves all of the free samples that are at the front desk, too! As for me & my family, we will always be back. Keep up the good work guys!

Rude front desk staff. They dont tell you when youre considered out of network. My husband and I live practically next door, but have left the practice due to the staff attitude problem...check out the other reviews. Its a problem. We also left because we were told wed have to pay out of pocket for a filling when we though we were in network and found out we were not. They must lose a lot of patients because they charge you $25.00 to transfer your records to another dentist office. The only reason I can see to do that is that you lose so much business you had to find a way to profit off them leaving your practice. They charge you the $25 fee to email the records. Thats right...one click. Send.
