This place has the worst amenities to your convenience. I came to this location on 02/05/2016, normally there is a pantry at every other facilities to your convenience.This place does not have one. If you have to warm up the food,either you go behind the counter of the nurses with their permission and hand over the food items for warming up. you are not allowed to go back and warm up to your temperature preference. Or the other choices is you walk down to the other side of the hallway in the dinning room and take care of your stuff.The dinning room does not have that facility which has sink,proper condomints,drinking water . I was told by the authorities that bringing your own personal microwave is not acceptable. I gave two option to the manager Marvel that I am going to use it once I am done using it I am going to unplug the microwave and leave it inside the closet. Second option I gave him was that I am going to bring microwave use it and take it back with me neither of this offer was acceptable to the manager.And on the top of that he threatened me if I dont take it out , then he would help himself which was rude and disrespectful to your client.Service is not up to the standard if you would call for help you have to wait for hrs.room does not have enough brightness, you have to bring your own lamps to provide ample brightness. Furnitures are condemning old and shineless If someone thinking of bring their love ones, they should think twice and do a through research..

We had to admit our mother, because the hospital services ran out. She has cancer and has gone thru the radiation process , and on top she had fractured vertebrate in lower back which is painful by itself. The hospital chose this place to take her, really with no research being done. We found out when we arrived at New London , services and personnel are very inadequate to handle the care for our elderly. They left her in her own feces for a full day, never helped her , they did not administer medicines correctly or on time. She was in pain most of the time and crying for help. No response from staff. In the morning staff came in and actually helped her get to the toilet, closed the door and did not return until we arrived and found her still on the toilet in complete pain, because of her back. We searched for an attendant for 10 min before find one, and they said oh we will be there in a minute. arrived 30 min after we helped her to the bed. Staff here has no respect for the people they are supposed to paid to help. They were also disrespectful to family members assisting. We observed elderly patience all over crying and yelling for help. with no response from staff. My observation lead me to believe home should have there license pulled and banned from ever creating another health care service.

I visited new London on 2/22/17 and was impressed by the facility and their employees. I was greeted and offered a coffee or water while I waited. I had stopped at the wrong entrance and one of their employees walked with me and showed me where the office and person I was meeting was located. I was meeting with LaChelle and she answered all of my questions and gave me information on what is next for her facility. Everyone that I met who lived at the facility had nothing but great things to say about the place as well as those who helped and took care of them. I see a lot of places and you can tell when one is not up to par. New London is not only up to par. They go beyond the minimum and you can see it in their staff and their patients. I would recommend going out and seeing them before you go anywhere else.

The Staff her has no respect for the patients as well as the family. my mom passed away while in there care, the called us 2 hours after and LIED about what happened to her. We tried to schedule a meeting with management and they didnt have time for us. They fabricated the report. Management never called to see how the family was doing or offer any type of condolences to my family. THE STAFF DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF THE PATIENT. OFTEN TIMES WHEN WE CHECK MY MOM WAS BEING GIVEN THE WRONG MEDS,DOSE ETC. PLEASE IM PLEADING TO YOU NOT TO PUT YOUR LOVE ONES IN THIS FACILITY. PLEASE DONT.. MY MOM LIFE ENDED QUICKLY BECAUSE OF THE CARE FROM THIS FACILITY.

I was there for 20 minutes nobody noticed me, asked if I needed help...the head nurse and some lady were not to nice at all...I hope I never have to go back there

This facility really created a friendly, and safe environment for my great aunt. The rehab dept. was exceptional!!!!
