Make sure you visit several places before deciding on this one!! Yes, there are other MUCH better alternatives. Even if you have to drive an extra 30 minutes it is worth it. Unfortunately you cant believe all the reviews on here. There are companies who will have employees put out positive reviews. My mom came here from the hospital for rehab from a broken leg. I couldnt get her out of there fast enough when I arrived the next day and found her half naked and covered in a sheet soiled badly with her own feces. There were supervisors that listened to my grievance but no one seemed shocked or said it would be dealt with. By the time one of the owners showed up and said that they meet some peoples expectations and not others...I had no more words. They are obviously not interested in raising the bar. I ended up moving her to Westbury in McDonough (theres no affiliation between the two) and its like night and day. Aside from the nursing home they have a separate rehab wing....and handicap bathrooms in each room! Jackson has only 4 handicap bathrooms in the whole facility! Enough said.

My Mother has been here for over 2 years. My family and I make sure she has hands on support from her family. Someone is there 3 or 4 times per week. I have built a relationship with some of these folks and for the most part my Mother and I are satisfied. They are not perfect but no nursing home is. You the family have to make sure your loved one is being cared for. You cant just drop them off and be done with it.

This killed my grandfather. He was perfectly fine the first day he got there but then he had a black eye with a gash and a broken rib. But I DONT want anyone else getting hurt
