I have to say I was a little hesitant after reading 2 bad reviews but thought I would give Randall Oaks Animal Hospital a try. Especially since one of the bad reviews came from a dog owner that doesnt give their dogs heart guard. Seriously if you cant afford preventative medication for your pets then you shouldnt have pets. I had an absolutely wonderful experience. I didnt feel like they tried to sell me anything in fact they trimmed my puppies nails free of charge and gave me 2 free samples! In fact they recommended that I not do the kennel cough vaccine too early because some doggie day camps may require that I repeat the vaccine later on. They were trying to SAVE me money. We saw Dr. Blondin and she was so personable and down to earth. I cant find one negative thing about this clinic. I thought the price was very reasonable too. I felt like everyone in the office gave me special attention. They even took a picture of my puppy and gave me a copy. How cute is that?

Brought in my cat with a cut on her toe. Was told it could be cancer and immediate surgery was necessary. I heard cancer and gave the go ahead to do what they needed. $300 and two stitches later, there was no cancer, just a cut toe. This should have been obvious from the examination. I feel they were preying on emotions of pet owners to fill their till. I also have a cat which needs to be euthanized due to mental problems. I have had this cat for over 5 years and literally tried every possible solution to help her to no avail. They wanted to charge me for a full wellness exam before putting her down. After 5 years of dealing with the anxiety problems of this kitty, the last thing she needs is another exam. Once again, a way for this vet to line their pockets with useless procedures. Avoid them at all costs.

We owe a lot of our dogs comfort and happiness to Randall Oaks Animal Hospital. We have an Airedale Terrier, Ozzie, and brought him to Randall Oaks as a puppy since their prices were very reasonable compared to other vet clinics in the area. When Ozzie started to lick his paws uncontrollably daily and become very protective of his feet the staff at Randall Oaks were able to help us diagnose it into an auto immune disease that effects his nails and nail beds. They worked with us to come up with a cost effective treatement plan that has since put his flare ups in remission. Ozzie is back to our happy dog that can walk pain free and leaves his paws alone. The staff is so sweet there and so helpful. We are so thankful to have them in the area to take care of our dog!

They recently changed their policy regarding rabies shots. Rabies shots must now be completed as a separate appointment if the shots are going to expire prior to a scheduled service. Formerly the shots could be done at the time as the other services , i.e. the yearly teeth cleaning and check up. Who has time to go take their pet to the vet twice when the shots, check ups and cleanings used to all be done at the same time?. Plus, what pet gets rabies any more? It is just another way for Illinois to collect money. Hopefully the vet loses money for this ridiculous policy. Vets are a dime a dozen.

Both my Chihuahua and my cat have been spayed at Randall Oaks Animal Hospital. They accept the "Friends of Animals" certificates which means they are accepting little reimbursement for the cost of the surgery. My pets both had outstanding care. They received pain killers for home & I got calls after the surgery & follow up calls to see how they were doing two days later. I dont feel that because of the low cost spay they scrimped in any way on making sure my pets were cared for & treated as well as possible. I am very pleased & would highly recommend them.

I did a lot of research before choosing the right Vet for my dogs. Randall Oaks was by far the easiest decision to make. Dr. Benz is so personable and has such love for every dog we have had. They have the best staff as well. I feel like family whenever I go there. I strongly encourage you to meet them, you wont be disappointed.

I was having a melt down about my elderly dog and maybe having to put her down... they were so compassionate and non-judgmental about how much I stinkin love my dog... we consulted and visited and thought about it some more and they were just so good to us through the whole process. Thanks.
