Hi. My name is Zeak and I am a dog. Please don’t ask me to explain how I can write a review as I don’t have any thumbs. All I can say is thank goodness for spellcheck! But, any pet or pet owner planning a trip to the Pulaski Vet Clinic needs to know about my visit there, so here it is. My owner recently brought me in for a check-up at the Clinic. As we were leaving home, I could hear him say that he has for bringing his other pet (who is also a dog, but is quite a bit older than me) to the Pulaski Clinic for many years and that everything would be OK. I was a little nervous but that made me feel a little bit better. After waiting in the room for a very long time to finally see the vet, (they must have been very busy that day), I could hear the vet trying to sell my owner on a lot of additional services that she would like to perform on me including pulling out my baby teeth and (worst of all!)…neutering! I guess that I SORT of get this, because, after all, they are a business and need to make money. But I was VERY glad that my owner declined what we both felt they were needless services (especially the neutering!) Based on my check-up, the vet prescribed a very expensive medication for my eyes saying that they are dry. My eyes seem fine to me and my owner, but she is the vet, so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. The very next day, my owner gave me a drop of this medication in both eyes. He said that this is what the directions said to do. That’s when the problem started and my eyes started to really hurt! They hurt so much that I started rubbing my face on the living room carpet and running around, trying to get the drops out and make the hurt go away. I could hear my owner calling the clinic to report this reaction. It sounded like the vet that did my exam was off that day, but someone at the clinic said to stop using the drops immediately and that the vet would call back the next day. My owner waited for way over a week and did not get a call back from the vet, so he made a follow-up call. Thankfully, I heard the telephone ring a few days later. It was the vet finally calling us back! I could hear my owner explaining the situation and the reaction that I had to the eye drops that the vet had prescribed…it was nearly two weeks later now. I didn’t know what was said until later that day when I heard my owner talking to a friend. I heard him say that he was told by the clinic that they "would not return our money for the prescription" even though it obviously caused me a LOT of discomfort after just one dose. I also heard my owner saying that the clinic told him that "it could not be returned because it was against state law to return a prescription" even though the prescription was used only once and was not the right medication for me because it REALLY hurt my eyes. Instead, the vet suggested that we spend even more $$ on another (even more expensive) prescription and to discard the one that had been prescribed the first time! Now, even though I am a dog, I still dont want anyone to break the law. But even I think that this experience shows a real lack of concern and demonstrates very poor customer service by this business. I say this due to their lack of telephone call follow-up and for prescribing a product that really hurt my eyes, not taking responsibility for it and then trying to sell us another prescription!

Weve been bringing our dogs to Pulaski Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years, and have been treated extremely well by the veterinarians and staff at every visit. Whether it be a sad occasion such as putting one of our fur babies to sleep, or the excitement of bringing a new doggie in for the first time, or just a routine check up and vaccinations, we always feel comfortable and welcome. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Weve known Dr. Burno since he was a large animal vet, coming out to the family farm! Since then, weve watched the clinic grow and expand under his leadership. More sophisticated testing equipment, technological advances in documentation and payment methods, a redesigned waiting area, and a complete update of the exam rooms/clinic layout are just a few of the changes. Dr. Burno and his wife, Lisa, have pored their hearts and souls into the practice, and it shows! They keep up with the new advances in testing, treatment options, vaccinations, parasite preventative choices, and more. Yet they strive to keep costs affordable. Taking advantage of manufacturers saving and rebate offers are made so quick and simple, which is really appreciated. The hours of operation are convenient and the staff members are always coming up with new ideas to improve upon the "little" things, such as waiting area comfort, ways to show off photos of clients pets, and the arrangement of their product displays. One of the more recent change left me thinking, "What a great idea!" They now light a flameless candle in the lobby/waiting room area as a way to let everyone know that a beloved pet is going to heaven in one of the exam rooms. That way, the other clients are aware and keep their voices softer, plus show respect and kindness during this heart-wrenching life event. Everyone there is so good with pets! The clinic atmosphere is very clean, pleasant, professional, and courteous. We always get thorough and complete information about test results directly from a vet, in a language we can understand, and they leave the final decisions to the owners, without any pressure. All in all, they make each visit the best experience possible for the owners and pets alike. Every time. We appreciate having them in our small town and I think were fortunate to have them here!!

We absolutely love Pulaski Veterinary clinic; we have 3 cats and 1 dog-- all of which are treated with the most compassion and love Ive ever seen at Pulaski Veterinary. Last year when our cat had eaten string and needed to undergo a bowel resection, Dr. Bruno went in over the weekend to do his paperwork and let Midnight hang out in his office with him so that Midnight wasnt left alone. We recently got another cat who recently became sick; we are leaving on vacation and were concerned about having a neighbor come to find our cat (who is hiding due to not feeling well) and administer medication. Dr. Bruno and his wife were so generous to allow me to board Miles there while we were on vacation to ensure he would be well cared for and we would not have to worry on our trip. When our dog had ear infections, Dr. Bruno offered several treatment options, including natural enzymatic medicine vs. prescription depending upon my comfort level. He carefully explained the pros/cons of each and made sure I understood and felt comfortable with the regimen. These are truly good, honest, and trustworthy people. We picked this clinic simply via web search when we moved to Pulaski, and are so blessed that we stumbled upon this gem! I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone.
