We recently took both our kids (3 years old and 18 months old) to see Dr. Oppenheim. The staff was warm and welcoming, the hygienists were incredible with the kids and Dr. Oppenheim was a joy. Upon arrival, while my wife checked in, the kids had many things to play with to keep them occupied. Once we were taken back, the stations were spacious and had wonderful views and the kids were occupied by their favorite movies (TVs above the exam chair) and stuffed animals on which they could practice brushing teeth. Dr. Oppenheim took her time with each of the kids, did a full exam and cleaning--and even flossed our daughters 10 teeth--and then walked us through things to think about and approaches for better dental health for the kids. She was warm, compassionate and well informed. She not only wanted the kids to have healthy teeth, but also had suggestions on ways to help them (and us!) sleep better and be happier. We could not have been more impressed. Also, in their bag of "goodies" to take home, the kids get a rubber ducky type toy at every visit and our kids get very excited about this collection. Highly recommended the office!

I have been seeing Dr Mary Hayes since I was about 2-3 years old. I am now 37 years old and my 3 children are a part of Pediatric Dental Health Associates. I couldnt recommend a more talented and experienced group than this one! Dr Hayes, Dr Montero and Dr Oppenheim, their orthodontics specialists, Dr Jarosz and Dr Valente, and the rest of the team are always great! They are extremely thorough and very informative. They always do everything they can to make your child feel comfortable and safe and have plenty of books and toys to keep kids of all ages occupied during their visit! I love the fact that my kids are able to see the same dentist I once did because it has helped a great deal having them know my troublesome dental history. Knowing my dental history and seeing some of the troubles my kids have had over the years, other providers unaware of my history may have acted differently for treatment, which in turn could have caused further issues down the road. I am forever grateful for the excellent treatment and care this office has provided over the last 35+ years and look forward to the many years to come!

All four of my children have been receiving dental care including braces (only one set of braces to go) from Pediatric Dental Care and Ortho for all Ages for the past 15 years. My kids have never once dreaded receiving dental care--even extractions. We have seen all the dentists. They are wonderful, caring, and do a fantastic job educating children and their parents about proper dental care that kids will carry with them for the rest of their lives. All the staff, including hygienists and administrators, are so friendly and helpful. In short, PDH offers medical professionalism at its best. Their office is the most charming, child-friendly pediatric office you will ever experience. My son even asked if he could have his birthday party at their office. No child leaves without a dental goody bag! This is easily the finest pediatric dental practice in Chicago.

My daughter was 27 months old when she had her first dental appointment. She loved the experience. Before our visit I had her watch an episode of Peppa Pig where she goes to the dentist, so she would know what to expect. The assistants are loving and fun and had her interacting with them in no time. My daughter got very excited when they had her brush a giant teddy dinasours teeth with a giant toothbrush. Dr. Montero was amazing as well, she let me hold my daughter while she examined her, so the whole process was very easy. After, her first visit I had my daughter asking when she was going back to the dentist again for two months. She now loves pretending to be a dentist. We just got back from our second visit with an equally amazing experience. Great job all of you!

These folks have a magic touch. Both of my kids have been traumatized by prior dentists. Screaming discomfort. One strapped my toddler to a board while she screamed throughout a necessary filling. Suggested general anesthesia for the next toddler when he wouldnt "cooperate". I took him to Dr. Oppenheim. She and her staff put him at ease and had such a gentle touch his cavity was filled before he realized that they had begun work. Each visit since has been a joy. We never miss a cleaning or exam, and now the kids have had ortho work with their related practice, Orthodontics for All Ages. Everyone there is so kind, gentle, proficient, and professional. I cannot recommend them enough.

We have been going to Pediatric Dental Health Associates for 10 years for check ups, cleanings, teeth pulling, and bonding. (Then there were braces!) We have always received great care and service from the office staff and fantastic doctors. This is a huge time commitment but we were always in great hands and Pediatric Dental always accommodated us and made the process as convenient as possible. Our girls learned from them also, they take care of there teeth without me really having to push them. I would highly recommend Pediatric Dental to anyone!!!

Triple A+ Five Stars, Best in Chicago. Our experience with Dr. Marilia Montero is beyond amazing. After a traumatic experience at another dentist practice, our daughter now looks forward to going to the dentist. Actually gets excited. As a parent, this practice exists only in your dreams...TVs on the ceiling, cool view, giant tooth in the office. It is a very special place with an understanding and care that doesnt exist in other practices.

My son is a very nervous dental patient who has a tendency to pass out during stressful medical procedures. Dr. Hayes has now extracted 9 of his teeth, and he has had no problems with any of the sessions. She does a wonderful job of managing the "laughing gas" so he doesnt even realize that it has taken any effect, and she walks him through so that he stays as calm as possible. Many, many thanks.

I have 3 children (14, 12 and 10) and have been going to Pediatric Dental Health since they first had teeth! We love all of the dentists and assistants. Everyone is kind and the kids actually enjoy going to the dentist! It is very convenient to have Orthodontist in same office. Would definitely recommend both Pediatric Dental Health and Ortho for all Ages!

All three dentists are great. The staff is kind, patient, and calm. The waiting room is full of murals, books, toys, and a big fish tank, which the kids love. To top it off, they take home a new Disney character toothbrush and a goodie bag. Hard to beat!

Dr. Hayes and the staff are singing saints! They are patient, gentle & able to examine, clean, & treat my challenging sons teeth while singing to him sometimes for 30 minutes!!! Dr. Oppenheim is great, too, and always makes my daughter feel at ease.

I went in with my 4 year old and 18month old sons unsure of how they would react to their first dentist visit but the staff and the environment was so child friendly, the entire experience was pleasant. The doctor was courteous, thorough and quick.
