I came here Friday on the recommendation of a friend. My kitty BeetleJuice needs a cyst removal and teeth cleaning. Dr Rowland is so kind and very honest and knowledgeable. I also appreciate his prices are reasonable. Last night my friends yorkie was injured in her eye. We messaged the doctor at almost midnight. He responded and we went in at 9am even though theyre closed today. He was kind and even made us laugh in a very scary situation he calmed my friend down and was honest its gonna be hard but hopefully her baby will recover and not loose her eye. Ive been looking for years for a real vet who truly cares about the animals because they are our babies

Dr. Rowland and his staff are wonderful! We have taken our two dogs there for the past 10 years. Rowland Animal Clinic has a small town feel. "Doc" truly cares about the animals and their well being - not the money. He is straightforward on what he thinks is the best course of action is, giving you options and cost estimates so you can take time to decide. You are able to call and get an appointment easily if there is an emergency and he even gives out his personal phone number should you have a pressing question after hours. Rowland Animal Clinic is very affordable and I highly recommend it!

Doc is amazing! He gave us a few more years with our german shepherd after spending hours removing a tumor. He loves the animals with his whole heart. He treats them as if they are his own. I wish all vets were like him! He shares a wealth of knowledge with everyone! His staff is just as passionate as he is.

$25 to hold a spot for a new patient or I cant setup an appointment, what a joke. Why couldnt I just pay at the appointment? My family has used rowland for over 20 years time to find a new vet I guess. Its clearly not about the animals anymore and just strictly about the money.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Rowland and his staff. They genuinely care about the animals and are not out to waste your time with unnecessary treatments or tests. I recommend him to everyone and each and every time they have been just as pleased.

ignorant staff, refusal to let you know how your pet did during surgery and after surgery, had my puppies ears taken there to be cropped and was messed up twice he had to be taken somewhere else, i do not reccomend for cropping or any surgical procedures

What happened to Dr. Rowland? Anyone? I loved him he was so helpful when my cat was ill and now my other cat is ill and i cant seem to get a hold of him. HELP

What would I do without Dr. Rowland? We drive 1 hr. from Chicago to see him. I cant imagine having anyone else treat my dogs.
