While I am sorry to read of some peoples problems here, I feel I have to give a fair appraisal of the staff at Wright, where my dog has been treated for cancer since March of 2010. At no time on my many visits there has the staff been anything less than kind, concerned, courteous and professional. Dr. Drazner is one of the few canine oncologists in the region and if your dog has cancer, you want this man on your side. My dog has lived with melanoma for 19 months now, and although his struggle continues, the people at Wright have been committed to trying to save my dogs life, and that means a lot to me.

I have known Dr. Junkas for over 17 years. I wouldnt trust the care of my animals to anyone else. My dogs adored/adore her as well. The current dog even gives her hugs. She is kind, attentive and very knowledgeable. I have nothing but complete confidence in her. I agree with all the other reviewers, she is truly, truly the most compassionate vet I have ever known. I am so happy she joined Wright Animal Hospital all those years ago. And, she not only treats the animal, she treats the human. The entire staff at Wright Animal Hospital is FABULOUS!

Dr.Kristen Junkas is the most geniously compassionate vetinarian I have been seeing for 15 years, I truly recommend and never second guess her because she is always so knowledgeable and precise that makes you feel comfortable and at ease with whatever decision you choose! Oh and just her personality alone, is the most bubbly sweetest kind of character I have ran into in society. So I highly recommend her as your new vet or even if your in doubt and need a second opinion! Only the best doctor in the world I put my full trust into!!

Love this place!!! Everyone there was caring and compassionate. Dr. Junkas was amazing. She was very thorough and gentle with my cat. When she came into the room, she got out a small rug to put on the cold steel table so my cat would be more comfy. In all my years of owning cats, I have never seen anyone do this. Such a simple gesture, but so appreciated! She also explained everything well. This was a first visit for us but definitely wont be our last.

Dr. Junkas was great. My cat was walking on the floor when she came in, so she went down on the floor to examine my cat, making her feel very comfortable. She asked a lot of questions and answered all my questions. She explained in great detail how surgery is performed, including their careful use of anesthetic and pain control. She was very thorough. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Wish I found them years ago. I highly recommend them!

I love my vet Dr. Junkas. Im a bit neurotic about my 10.5 year old Pyrenees and she totally gets it, and I feel will do everything she can to help me have my girl with me for as long as possible. And shes wonderful with the 10mth old pup, Henry. Completely understands his personality type and energy level and what we need to do to keep him safe from his self-destructive behaviors. So glad I found her!

Everyone here is friendly and shows that they genuinely care about you and your pet. The doctor spent a lot of time with us answering any questions and concerns and never seemed like she had enough and wanted to go on to her next patient. She took the time to get to know us, which is rare with doctors now. The vet techs are also very patient and delicate. I am very happy with this clinic.

Im so glad a friend told me to go to Wright. Such personal service and such a compassionate staff. Both of our dogs have significant health concerns and have a team of specialists. Dr. Junkas works so well coordinating all of their needs. Its been a great relief to have a neighborhood animal hospital that can tend to the needs of our special pups. I appreciate them so much!!!

Wouldnt change a thing about Wright Animal Hospital. Dr. Jukas has been treating my dog for cancer for 3 months. From the beginning, Ive felt well informed of the diagnosis, of the process, and of what to expect at each stage. We live in Naperville; the drive to Des Plaines is worth it.

I take my two cats to this vet clinic and I always walk away feeling satisfied that my cats are really looked after. The doctor is very knowledgeable and is always very attentive to answer any questions I may have. I highly recommend this location to anyone in the area.
