Finally found the right veterinarian. First, Dr. Flaherty is an excellent doctor for my dog, clearly cares, but also clearly knows his stuff. He even called me back on the weekend when my dog was a puppy and I was simply a nervous new owner. Beyond that, his staff is always warm and professional, and you get to bring your dog to a house that is a clinic, so if feels friendly and your pet isnt freaked out. My dog loves Dr. Flaherty and staff. If you are looking for excellent care, up-to-date medical knowledge incorporating natural vet care in a welcoming environment, I couldnt recommend St. Francis Vet Clinic more -- this place is the best.

My fb scheduled an appointment and when I went in this lady gave me an attitude saying I didnt have an appointment and that they only have 1 appointed that day. She then later switched it to they dont take appointments on Thursdays. What kind of vet is open but doesnt take appointments!? Not only did my bf had to take off work to go to the appointment, I had to cancel a appointment to take my dog in. Very disappointed in how this went. The receptionist acted like I was crazy. Over all the clinic is great but from the service I got today, my rating did significantly change due to the fact on how this situation was handled.

Dr. Flaherty has been caring for my dogs for over 5 years. He not only knows his trade very well, he has a great bedside manner and is extremely conscientious on follow ups. Overall I view his service as outstanding.
