We have been seeing Dr. Damhoff on and off for close to two years now. We are a very active family, from sports to physically demanding careers. Our first experience was for my daughter, now 17 years old. She runs high school track and unfortunately a repetitive foot injury kept her from finishing two track seasons, until we saw Dr. Damhoff. My daughter suffered from peroneal tendonitis. She saw an orthopaedic, was put in a boot, had physical therapy and was still in extreme pain. After Dr. Damhoffs use of ART (Active Release Technique), within 3 visits Graces pain was down by 50%. By 5 visits she was out of the boot and walking without crutches. As you can imagine, the physical demand of running/conditioning on a growing body can cause a variety of issues/injuries. Dr. Damhoff continues to educate us with exercises and stretches as well as proper technique to keep our bodies in great condition. Which will lead me into the next situation that he saw us thru. My husband was in two car accidents, one week apart. He suffered a back injury. He saw all appropriate doctors/physical therapists and 8 months later he was doing better, but no where near 100%. He was convinced this was it for him. I asked him to let Dr. Damhoff check him out. Within 2 weeks, he was pain free. A little sore from doing the exercises recommended by Dr. Damhoff, but that is it!! To this day, if he starts to feel muscle tightness he refers back to the exercises he was given and within days, he is better. (now if he would just do them every day, that would even be better). Dr. Damhoff is not interested in signing you up for months of care. Dr. Damhoff wants to help you get to the bottom of your pain, apply the techniques that he knows and get you back to your normal lifestyle, with a few more exercises/stretches to keep you healthy!

I was first introduced to Dr. Brian through my wife, who was seeing him for Carpal Tunnel treatment. She had mentioned that I was bothered by a fallen arch, and he was kind enough to offer a consultation after one of her sessions. What impressed me most about our meeting was how up front he was. He spoke frankly about the nature of my injury, and was clearly not interested in offering flase hope or locking me into a treatment package. As a weekend warrior I was curious to see how both his Active Release Therapy and chiropractic services could help not only my injury, but also my overall well being. Having received treatment from Dr. Brian on a consistent basis for over a year, I am comfortable recommending his services to anyone wanting to experience optimal physical health. I very much look forward to our sessions, and always leave his office feeling rejuveniated. He is far more thorough than any other chiropractor I have dealt with, and actually concerned with my individual ailments. There are certain techniques he uses, i.e. his method of adjusting the hips, that I feel are a great deal more effective than the traditional approach. Combine that with A.R.T. and you get an experience that truly feels all-encompassing. No "crack em, wack em, and send em on their way" schemes at Elite Performance institute. I will close by saying Dr. Brian is an extremely knowledgable and passionate individual, and I found his positive attitude to be contagious. I wish that all healers would approach their craft with a similar mindset.

Let me first start off by saying Ive been an athlete all my life and Ive never been injured. I guess thats why the agony I was experiencing while training for my first marathon was incredibly frustrating. I was dealing with hamstring pain that would shoot up through my glute, down through the back of my leg, and eventually was causing numbness in my toes. I was stubborn and let this pain go on for almost 3 months, thinking this was "normal" training discomfort. It wasnt until I was out on a long run where I literally couldnt lift my legs anymore. My hamstrings were so tight/damaged I had lost all ability to stride and drive my legs forward. I finally decided this was not normal and I had better do something, I had a marathon to run in 2 weeks. Enter Dr. Damhoff; I visited the doctor with literally days before I was to endure 26.2 miles in hopes he could alleviate some of the pain. I was able to squeeze in 3 treatments before the big race thanks to him being incredibly flexible with my schedule. I went into my race feeling confident, was able to run PAIN FREE, and finish my first marathon in under 4 hours. Dr. Damhoff not only helps relieve your current ailments, he also educates you on how to prevent future injuries. He truly cares about you as a human being and is undoubtably invested in your well being.

5 stars is not enough starts to indicate how awesome Dr. Damhoff is. I was referred to Elite Performance Institute from my running coach because of pain behind my knee and up my hamstring. I had this issue for over a year. It would come and go as I ran longer miles. My first visit, Brian had indicated that it was not my hamstring but my upper calf. I couldnt believe it. He took the time and explained why it wasnt my hamstring. BINGO he hit a spot on my calf and I yelled, "Yes thats it", it shot right around my knee and up my hamstring. The first visit, he started showing me the exercises I need to do to get back on the road injury free. After 8 visits, I was actually done by the 6th visit, but he was like my security blanket and I didnt want to let go until I did some long miles. Long story short, I am now running pain free and no injuries. If you are fighting a nagging injury that just wont go away, you seriously need to call Dr. Damhoff. He is an expert in his area and he truly loves what he does. He is also a very likable and funny guy. You will not go wrong seeking him out. He is the Man!!

Ive been running for over 20 years with very few injuries. After an intense training period and 2 marathons over 3 weeks, I was dealing with some pretty severe leg pain. I couldnt pinpoint it, but was uncomfortable walking, could barely get down the stairs, and running became unbearable. After visits to orthopedic doctors and PTs, a friend suggested I try Dr. Brian. I wasnt sure how he could help me - I had leg pain and he is a trained chiropractor. My doubts were put at rest after just one visit. He listened and worked on my leg and thought about other aspects of my running that could be contributing to my pain. After just one visit, I felt a very noticeable difference in my running. After a few more visits, my pain completely vanished. I cannot recommend Dr. Brian enough - even if you dont think a chiropractor can fix what ails you, you are likely wrong. Dr. Brians ART techniques go far beyond the treatment of a typical chiro and might just heal you like they did for me!

I am currently in the process of recovering from back, neck, and hip pain that has plagued me for the entire summer. As an athlete, this has significantly hindered my training, my spirits, and motivation. After 8 sessions at a typical chiropractic office, I saw little improvement from the brief massages and adjustments. However, within the last two weeks a friend recommended that I check into Brian at Elite Performance in Naperville, IL to see if he can help me out. After a few brief visits I have already seen massive improvements in mobility, reduction in pain, and less general fatigue throughout the day. Brians approach is different from every chiropractor that Ive ever been to, and I truly believe in the work that he is doing. Though Ive always been quite a skeptic when it comes to chiropractors, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that he will give you excellent treatment, service, and that he genuinely cares for his patients. I recommend him without hesitation!
