We took our 3 1/2 year old here for her first dental appointment. Knowing that she can be a little hesitant with new people and sometimes even terrified if the new person is a male, my wife and I certainly had some anxiety not knowing how the visit was going to go. We had stated this concern on the new patient form and we were both impressed that not only did Dr. Facko read it, he made sure to introduce himself with even more caution. We arrived a bit early in hoping to get her accustomed to a new office. The office was clean and we quickly found an age appropriate book that we could read that helped to explain the dentist office and his tools. We were called to go back into the exam room and meet the dentist. He and his staff were very friendly, informative and patient. We first spent about 10 minutes just talking to the dentist while my daughter sat on my wifes lap (where she was allowed to stay the entire time - even during examination). After that he approached my daughter and began to introduce himself as well as the toothbrush that he was going to use on her teeth. When it was time for the exam, he explained the "costume" he was going to wear (surgical mask, gloves, and special glasses) before he even put them on - playing peak-a-boo with the mask. He even gave her a "costume" she could take home (mask and gloves). He was able to do a special brushing, count her teeth and apply the fluoride treatment without a single problem from my daughter (no whining, crying, kicking, or telling us "no", etc.). Overall my wife and I were shocked and extremely happy with how well the visit went. Our daughter is still talking about her visit to the dentist - almost a week later - and were looking forward (without any anxiety) to our next visit in 6 months.

We learned about this office through the school because the office organized a coloring contest, and Im so glad we did!!! My 5 yr old and 3 yr old had a great experience. I love that they only specialize in kids. Everything from the the decor and staff is centered around kids. Ashley was our hygienist. She was super! She explained the importance of good oral hygiene and the purple test really reinforced it in a way kids can understand. They got their very own dental kit and a cool pair of glasses and t shirts for being good sports. Dr Facko was very professional and runs 5 star practice. My kids now love the dentist and wanted to go back next week. For sure we will stick to our biannual check ups!!!

Took both of my boys my oldest being seven years old has already gone to the dentist for my three-year-old this was his first time and they both had a great experience everyone from the front office to the dentist was patient and understanding. it was very kid friendly which I enjoyed the most the boys are now excited to go to the dentist specially my three-year-old. The billing portion of the office lovely ladies who take care of the invoices were great I forgot to print out my insurance cards but they already verified the insurance and it was good to go it was a relief not having to play middleman between them and the insurance I am very happy and will continue with Dr. Facko and his lovely staff

Dr. Flacko is one of the most honest and kind Dentists that I have seen. Being the mother of a 5 year old Autistic son who is also non verbal, is quite the challenge when it comes to brushing, cavities, and not knowing if a tooth is causing pain. Landon was diagnosed with many cavities by another Pediatric Dentist. This meant an unaffordable surgery for our son. I got a second opinion from Dr. Flacko only to find out that surgery is unnecessary and things werent even close to as bad as we thought. I will be taking my son to Dr. Flacko even though he is out of network with Landons insurance. You cant put a price on a truly honest and kind Dr!

Just left my daughters very first dentist appointment, and it went better than I ever couldve imagined! Dr. Facko and his staff were so friendly and gained my daughters trust quickly and easily. The office was super clean with a kid-friendly waiting area, and check-in process was easy with only a very short wait. Dr. Facko was informative and thorough without making me feel guilty-- I actually learned something about brushing my own teeth! My daughter left with several fun "surprises" including the typical toothbrush/paste/floss, as well as a bouncy ball and sticker. ;-) Highly recommend!

I had been looking for a pediatric dentist for my 14 month-old son ever since I noticed black stain in his teeth when they first came out. I am so happy and pleased that I found Dr. Richard Facko and his staff at Palos Pediatric Dentistry through another pediatric dentistry that does not take toddler under two. Dr. Facko and his staff are very professional, loving and caring, which makes my sons first dental visit a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Facko to parents who are looking for a good pediatric dentist.

My son hated the dentist as a result of a traumatic experience from a previous dentist. For the first time in 6 years I witnessed my son remain calm and allow the dentist to work. The Dr. was gentle and had an excellent bedside manner with kids. My son ended up with a great cleaning experience and even motivated to brush twice daily and correctly. The best part is the fact that he cannot wait to return and even had given up on asking for anything sweet to eat.

We had a great experience at Palos Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Facko is extremely knowledgeable and is great with the kids. He explained every step and every tool he used to the kids first, before actually performing the procedures. They were not scared at all. He also has a talented staff that works with him. My kids look foreword to going back to the dentist. Booking an appointment was very easy to do. They worked around our schedule.

I took my 2 year old to Palos Pediatric Dentistry for the first time and the entire staff was wonderful to work with. Dr Facko was patient and gentle with our sons first dental appointment. To my surprise he was able to brush and examine his teeth without a problem. Dr. Facko alleviated some concerns that I had and provided great tips for our kids oral health. Well be back in 6 months for their next cleanings.

What another great experience my children had with Dr.Facko and his friendly staff. Everytime we go its the same kind of environment- comfortable, stress-free, and enjoyable. My son says "Dr. Facko is Amable y paciente " which means kind and patient. My daughter says "hes wonderful, funny, &nice" When your children tell you they really like going to the dentist thats a big plus! Thank you Dr. Facko & staff!

Had wonderful experience! My daughter loved him! Cassie, the office manager, was so sweet and great at figuring out our insurance when I had questions. Dr. Facko was great at checking my daughters teeth and telling me whats currently going on and what to expect in the coming months and years. I would recommend Dr. Facko to anyone looking for a great pediatric dentist.
