Posting this review immediately after getting off the phone with Dr. Goris. After sending a message that we were canceling an appointment I received a call from him. We got a text message saying "Looking forward to seeing you for your appointment." We had not confirmed this appointment, and responded immediately with cancellation. We had made the decision to cancel ALL appointments at this office after being charged $75 for a missed appointment (which was communicated we would miss), being constantly hounded to "fill in" appointments when they had open scheduling, and having appointments confirmed that we did not confirm. At no point did we ever agree to or were presented with these missed appointment charges until they showed up on our bill. It should be noted that the way they confirm appointments is via text message and email. Even if you dont respond to the emails and text messages, they still confirm the appointment. And if you miss: $75. (Scam??) The phone call with Dr. Goris was one of the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. After explaining that we were canceling and going to a different office, I was told that this was "really crappy and frankly patients like you arent welcome here and you should find a different office." Instead of trying to work with us on removing these charges he chose to berate me on the phone. With the amount of offices available to us, having an office that will charge nearly $100 for missing an appointment (that was never confirmed!!) is ridiculous. Dont go here unless you want to pay through the nose on charges and fees.

I cant even begin to describe how amazing Dr. Goris and his staff are. Everyone in the office is so friendly and they do everything in their power to make sure that youre appointment goes smoothly and that you are at ease. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Goris, my teeth and gums were in pretty bad shape. Not only that, but, like everyone else, I had an irrational fear of being at the dentist. With that being said, during that first appointment Dr. Goris and his dental assistants really took my worries and anxiety to heart and made sure to work through any doubts or fears I was having before they even opened my mouth (and they still do to this day!). Their attentiveness and just overall sense of caring is what had lead me to overcome my fear of the dentist. And plus, my teeth and gums are so much more healthy! Now, dare I say it, I am willingly coming in for my regular cleanings (which is a BIG step for me). Not only that, but I have also agreed to let Dr. Goris fill in cavaties on the same day of my appointment, and thats definitely something that I would have never agreed to in the past. Bottom line is: I always know that Ill be in good hands with Dr. Goris and his staff, and you will be too.

I only gave one star because I could not give negative stars! I had been a patient of Dr. Goris for approximately 2 years, in that time he placed an implant that should NEVER have been placed (insufficient bone) that ended up in my sinus cavity, requiring much pain and suffering to get removed. Of the 3 crowns he did for me, one needed replacing after18 months because of decay underneath. Another crown that he tried to repair, not once, not twice, but three times, must now be extracted!!! The third crown did not fit properly from the start, so he did replace that one, but low and behold, it did not fit right the second time, so he put porcelain over it which is now crumbling and it will just be a matter of time before I am forced to replace that one also!!! Excluding the implant, I have paid Dr. Goris $2,512.00 for work on the three teeth that guess what folks, my insurance wont cover again because it has not been 5 years, it has been a mere 2 years...Hard earned money down the drain!!! If anyone is wondering if Dr. Goris made right on any of this you are sadly mistaken, he does not stand behind his work!!! Patient beware!!!

Beautiful Smiles name is truly their mission in goal for all their patients. Even after 6 years in braces as a teen I was still not happy with my smile and it bother me more and more as I began my professional career. I was referred to Dr. Goris by another long time patient. He and his staff were very welcoming from the first time I stepped in the office. Dr. Goris reviewed the different options that I there were and review the potential risk, complications and cost of each option so I could make the best decision for me. Needless to say when Dr. Goris finished with my teeth, I can honestly say for the first time in my life I truly felt like I have a beautiful smile. Dr. Goris and his staffs mission is to give everyone the beautiful smile they always wanted. I highly recommend Beautiful Smiles for any dental work you might need!

Very friendly staff. On two separate occasions, I have called for an emergency. The first time, I had no pain - they got me in the next day. This last time, they got me in within two hours. REMARKABLE! I called at 7 AM thinking I would get VM, but NO! Dr Goris actually answered the phone. Told him my issue, he asked if 8:30 was good, I showed up, problem solved. That is A-1, First Class, 5-STAR, however you want to say it, #1 in customer service. I live on the other side of Greenwood and was thinking about changing Dentist, just for convenience. But really, I think I can drive that far a couple times a year for my regular visits - no problem, especially when treated like royalty.

Dr Goris and his staff were okay, but the problem I had, and the reason I will not return is because they made a mistake in my billing to the tune of 900+ dollars. The work I was quoted on (partial and a bridge) nearly doubled in price, and if I had accurate information beforehand, I might have chosen to go implant. but since the bridge was already in by the time they found the error, I didnt get to make an accurate choice. When I complained about their error, they said they would see what they could do. They never did anything. They did do the work, and I am happy with it, But cannotrecommend due to the severity of this error. And the lack of follow through for doing anything about it.

-5 is my real rating for this place. i had been going here for years and all of a sudden after a routine cleaning and check up i was informed i had 3 caveties hidden between my teeth. we went through everything and went over the xray twice. but something didnt seem right. so i got a second opinion and got a clean bill of health with no issues from choice dental and was informed i had some of the best teeth they had ever seen. I dont know if they had lost some customers and needed the money. but they were going to drill into my teeth and charge me bunch of money for no reason other than greed. i will not be returning....

I have been going to your dental office for over 15 years. It had been a while (over 5 years) since my last visit. About 8 months ago I decided to visit and get a general cleaning. This worked OK and we scheduled a followup in about 6 months. That would be the appointment I had yesterday. The doctor had some concerns and I had some concerns. We worked through those concerns and came up with a plan. The dental service was, as I expected, very good and I am now on track to seeing more improvements in the future. Thanks to all of you for listening to my needs.
