Phil Mirise extracted my tooth last week. I have had 4 teeth pulled before this one, so i have a pretty good idea of the healing process. He left a piece of the tooth in, here now 10 days later the piece of tooth can clearly be seen, my face is swollen and hot to the touch, I have severe pain on the whole left side of my face, head and ear. It has progressively gotten worse over the last 5-6 days, finally swelling downward and extruding puss, nearly 1/4 of an inch below the rest of my teeth on that side, the gums are visibly dark red. after fighting this issue for several days I decided to call Mr Mirise and alert him to my condition as I feel like someone has shot me in the head. I thoroughly explained my situation, the puss, the pain the visible remaining piece of tooth and the fact that i have been though this a few times,after I explained it he promptly says " I cannot call in a narcotic" in a rude manner. Showing no concern for my condition. Just for Mr Mirises info I have only take 2 of the nasty narcotic stomach killers he did prescibed when he pulled the tooth and my call was placed because after ten days i have ran out of my antibiotic 3 days ago and with the visible swelling, pain, puss, redness, the spreading of pain to my ear, entire jaw and head worse and worse from day 7 to day 10 I am naturally worried about infection as ANYONE who knows anything about medical would. Mr Mirise is not a compassionate professional, he is judgmental, rude, unprofessional and his actions go against the very oath all care givers undergo. Not everyone out here is a drug addict Mr Betterthaneveryoneelse, and how you treat people in your professional life, especially when your actions result in harm, will all come back

I dont normally write reviews, but working in healthcare myself, I know how the "review" world works. Most people will only take the time to tell a story if it is negative. People dont make it a point to go out and let everyone know when they received excellent care, or when someone went above and beyond for them. I receive excellent care at Cedar Lane Family Dentistry, every single visit. Both of my daughters are patients there, (ages 6 and 16), and they are completely comfortable with every aspect of their visits. The entire staff is friendly, gentle, and thorough. Dr. Mirise is kind and soft spoken. He takes the time to answer every single question. The front desk personnel work hard to call for sooner appointments in the event of cancellations, and always take care of the insurance portion of our visits. This office is wonderful. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend them!

What a wonderful dentistry.I had let my teeth go for many years without any care,other than my own.I was really dreading the first visit.However,it didnt take Dr.Mirise,and his staff long to show me just how easy it can be.From extraction,to Crown installation,and cleaning,all went very quickly,and professionally.Im so impressed with Dr. Mirise and his staff,from the front office to the back,all are so friendly,and professional.There is no excuse not to see the dentist.Now my teeth are back in GREAT shape,and Im a regular now.Dont let fear, or excuses ruin your smile,make an appointment today,youll thank yourself later. Dr Mirise is the best dentist I have ever been to. While I do not look forward to having my teeth worked on I no longer dread going to the dentist. He is extremely gentle and very calming. He has never yelled at me like some dentists Ive had, when I gagged he immediately stopped working and waited until I was okay then asked if it was okay to begin again. It was really nice. His work is great, I always feel better when I leave his office. He always follows up any surgeries with a personal call to make sure everything is okay and I felt that was amazing customer service as I have never had a call like that before. I absolutely suggest going to Dr Mirise if you are in the area and need a dentist.

WHERE did this "dentist" graduate? HE IS 100% INCOMPETENT! My mother was in severe pain and needed a root canal. He tried to drag out her treatment plan for WEEKS by scheduling her to come back for multiple visits for one reason and one reason ONLY... to LINE HIS POCKETS! (Ive had a root canal/crown before- TWO visits and youre done- NOT with him!) I saw he had more than SEVEN patients in chairs at the SAME TIME! This would be common in a dental office with more than ONE dentist. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! You are only a dollar sign to him! RUN RUN RUN AWAY!! I will be reporting him to ALL dental agencies AND the state attorney generals office!

I have been going to Dr. Mirise for 12 years an yes he is the best dentist anyone could ask for . My girlfriend went to family Morton an when I seen how rough an rude they were I couldnt believe it I told her to switch she absolutely loves it . We couldnt be happier an for the fact he wants to save the teeth instead of just ripping them out is amazing we couldnt ask for a better dentist!

There is so many good things I could say about this office. Lets start with how wonderful the Dr makes you feel when you are completely scared of the dentist. Its like you arent even there!! Second I have never been to an office that has such wonderful staff. Everyone is always in a great mood and it truly shows in the type of work they do!!

I really enjoy my visits at Cedar Lane Family Dentistry. They entire staff make the whole process easy because they are so organized and on top of everything. We recently switched insurance companies and Cedar Lane made the process easy for us and they made sure we could still stay on as patients there. I highly recommend them.

It has been very convenient going to Cedar Lane Family Dentistry. I recently switch insurance companies and I was happy to find out that Cedar Lane would also accept my new policy which makes everything a lot easier. They have a great staff and I am very happy that I am able to stay with them.
