Bad service and mix ups there. Our Berneses previous human was taking him there, so I stayed on there as they had all of his records. It has taken over 2 years for them to get the transfer done correctly and last time I went in they put in my phone number and still pulled up the record with his previous human. When I asked for a refill for an antibiotic for Jackson, the vet kindly called back after 4 hours, but said left a message saying she didnt know which prescription I wanted a refill on (although this was made very clear and reiterated numerous times to the front desk staff, who asked me repeatedly which one I needed). When I called back, I told the vet which one I needed and she said there was no record of an antibiotic. Then I gave her the exact name and she was able to locate it. Then she asked which pharmacy I wanted it called into. She hung up, but then called right back by mistake- saying she meant to call the pharmacy with the address I gave her. I gave it to her again and she said she would call it in right then. We needed to walk the dogs as it was already late. Once I got back, I drove up there and the pharmacy had no record of the prescription being called in. They tried finding it every possible way and called Banfield, but they had just closed. This morning I called Banfield and told them what happened and they said it had been called in. They gave me the phone number of the pharmacy and it was one 20 minutes away. Needless to say, this day and age it isnt that hard to find the correct pharmacy and call it in. If they are as inept in such matters, it makes me wonder about their overall ability to really help Jackson. Part of the problem could be the overall corporate mentality there that seems to push the bottom line more than actual pet care. Needless to say, we will be looking for an actual vet to build a relationship with instead of here. Its just too impersonal.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The receptionist, Becky, was so rude, inconsiderate, and incompetent that we left and didnt even see the doctor. We decided to try this Banfield location for our recently adopted puppy because it is very close to our home and they had a coupon on their website for a free office visit if you filled out some information for them. I filled out the form and printed the coupon. Upon arriving at the office, I gave Becky the coupon. She looked at it for a minute, and then said it was expired. The expiration on the coupon was 5/31/11, even though I printed it off on 6/6/11, which was even printed on the coupon by my printer. We politely pointed all this out, and she was extremely rude and stubborn, and would not concede that her company was at fault and our coupon needed to be used. Finally she asked me if I had wireless access and suggested that I pull up the coupon online again. I have an iphone, so I did this, and they must have updated the coupon this week because now the online has an expiration date of 12/31/11. I showed this to her, at which point she said it needed to be printed off. THE COUPONS HAD THE EXACT SAME CODES, BUT SHE WANTED ME TO PRINT OFF THE NEW ONE! I asked if she had a printer we could use to print it off, and she said she does have a printer, but we could not use it. I then asked if my wife could stay with our puppy and start the exam while I went home and printed off a new coupon, which she wouldnt allow. Becky was terrible to us, and we will not be back unless they fire Becky and hire a competent receptionist. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (The appointment was on 6/9/11, merely 3 days after I printed off the original coupon. Again, the coupons were IDENTICAL except for the expiration date)

So many great things to say about this location. We have Weimaraner dogs and use the wellness program. Originally we had two rescues (female, male) and when we lost our female (she passed on) they sent us a condolence card with all of the staff signatures. This was incredibly touching and personal. Our rescue male has had surgery there to remove teeth (he had bad teeth when we rescued and has had continued issues with teeth) and he had a fatty tissue cyst removed. We were called about the details each time so we could make informed decisions on cost of treatment and options. Whenever price changed or something else came up, they would call and review. We recently added a male weim puppy purchased from a pet store that we found had issues with a parasite causing him to not gain weight. Through two rounds of treatment (second one more aggressive) he is now in much better health. The vets and staff were so helpful throughout this process and happy to say he has gained nearly 10 lbs in two weeks! Im very picky when it comes to the care of our canine children and thus far, I am very pleased with how the vets and staff partner with us on wellness for our pets. We are adding another female weim puppy to our pack and looking forward to the continued care through Banfield.

These 3 year old posts need to be taken off... A lot has changed since then. Ive been taking my two labs to this Banfield for almost a year now, never had any problems at all... Everyone I have come into contact with has been absolutely great. As far as getting billed for not showing up to an appointment, I actually just missed one on Monday, rescheduled for Tuesday with no issues. Pricey bills? Ive never paid for anything I didnt know was coming. They have always broke down the cost for me BEFORE I paid. All of the vets will go through the entire recommended treatment cost with you if you ask, I have even asked to remove a few things before with no issue. Read through the wellness plan before you sign anything, ask 100 questions... they will answer all 100 of them.

We recently took our two dogs here. The nurses took them back to give them shots. Our dogs yelped and screamed the whole time. They were gone for over 20 minuets. IF you go here, check your receipt. They schedule appointments without telling you and WILL charge if you do not show up. When they were taking the dogs temps, one nurse hurt our dog with the thermometer and let him run around the room with it sticking out of his butt while she laughed. We will not be returning to ANY Banfield locations again. We will stick to Eagle Creek Animal Clinic from now on.

Took our dog here for her first shots and everything seemed to be good at first. Needed a booster shot in 3 weeks which was scheduled before the vet or store was even open. Got a confirmation email and everything to arrive and discover they didnt open for another hour. Rescheduled and a second booster shot was given that we were unaware was needed. We were charged for an office visit and both booster shots without ever being told this until checkout. Will not be returning here.
