I was blown away about their care and compassion! I moved here from the west coast and Ive been to many vets and had terrrible experiences. My dog had a growth on his neck the size of a grapefruit and our vet said, "for $500.00 he"s cut it all out, I said "well if it is cancer & you just cut it off & expose it to air it will kill him." My vet didnt believe that. OMG!!! I went to the Trussville Animal & they drew blood & the Vet looked at it and she came to me & sadly had to tell me that the cells were extremely aggressive and very fast growing & it would put my dog through extreme pain to try to take the cancer out since it was in his throat and it would just grow back. We made the right choice and let him live for as long as possible until he let us know it was time and then we put him to sleep. RIP Houston! Thanks Trussville Animal Hospital for your care.

They have always been good to me and my many animals I have taken there over the years. The front desk is also great. Whenever I call to have records sent somewhere for whatever the reason (like boarding or for going into a nursing home) they have been fantastic about sending them over promptly.

I have been using Trussville Animal Hospital since 1990 and have complete confidence not only in their knowledge, but their compassion for my pets. In fact, when my dog realizes that is where we are going, he is so excited . . cant wait to get in the door!!

Be careful not to pay in advance before you look at your bill because they tend to "forget" to tell you some charges and they charge you before you see the bill. The vets are very nice; but the customer service is lacking at the front desk.

I LOVE Trussville Animal Hospital! They groom my pups and my exotic shorthair kitty! They know my boys by name; they know me by name as well. They are so sweet - everyone we come in contact with is a pleasure! Love them all!

I really like the vets, the clinic smells clean and my boyfriends dogs love going there. I only gave it 4 stars because of the receptionist, on 2 occasions shes been either condescending or just plain rude.
