I stumbled upon Dr. Cokers office through a simple Google search, much like you are doing now. It was close to home and although there were negative reviews, the positive reviews seemed to outweigh them. Now Im wondering... HOW?! At first, I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and Dr. Coker himself and was even willing to ignore the very inappropriate conversation started by Dr. Coker regarding an employee trip to Cancun years ago in which his female staff member was wearing a skirt without panties. Regardless, I tried on several frames, found one pair I liked in-store and a pair online shown to me by staff. The online glasses were ordered and I was given a 2-3 day waiting period. Fast forward 2.5 weeks and I had yet to hear anything from his office. I called to follow up and was told the frames were received, inadvertently put on display and sold. The situation was laughed off and glasses were reordered and I was given to the end of the week into the first of the week. The end of the week came and went and I called on the following Monday and spoke to Meghan, who, unbeknownst to me at the time, is apparently not always in the Jeff office. I was advised she would follow up with delivery and return my phone call, in which she had plenty of time to do so before their office closed 4 hours later and she wouldnt be in the next day. I called again and spoke to Dawn. Surprise! The frames were backordered. Dawn thought Megan called me and Megan thought Dawn called me, or so I was told. I was run around with BS every time I called. Either way, there is a serious lack of communication in this office whether it be between employees or employee/patient. I digress. Dawn contacted a rep to see if the frames were in stock and would get the frames from the rep. Keep in mind, its been nearly a month since my initial appointment. Dawn kept trying to reassure me that I could buy the Rayban frames I had picked out during my last visit and I explained to her if I wanted to purchase the Raybans I would have bought them that day. Instead, I was given an option which turned into a complete fiasco. The highlight of our conversation was when I noted chronic headaches and was told by Dawn, "stop talking if youre having headaches, youre wasting your breath and itll make the headaches worse." Wow! I then made the mistake of saying I paid $150 (I had the office visit price confused with the price of the Rayban frames) and she said, "actually, you paid $69." Fair enough. I asked if I could be refunded the $69 and was advised, "no appointments are free, wouldnt that be nice? (insert condescending laugh here)" I reminded her that although I had requested dilation during my visit, Dr. Coker left without providing the procedure. Sure, I was the last appointment of the day, but I used personal time from work to make it to the appointment by 4:30 and wasnt shown ANY courtesy by Dr. Coker. After pulling a few teeth, I was finally faxed my prescription so that I may buy the frames elsewhere. It is in your best interest to avoid this place at all costs. There is no level of professionalism from the staff to the doctor himself. Or, you can ignore this negative review like I had others and find out yourself. Optometrists are a dime a dozen and Dr. Coker is easily replaceable.

Took more than 2 and half months to get the glasses in. Ordered a particular brand of lenses and the store attempted to sell me a non-branded product. Stay away of this business.
