When I was having a really hard time financially but my dog needed urgent care so she would be able to walk, every other vet in town showed zero compassion for my situation. They were all dollar signs. When I finally found Dr. Watkins, I cried right in his office from relief. He found ways to help me care for her that worked with my financial plight rather than demanding money up front before hed even consider seeing her. I left his office feeling relieved for finding him and disappointed that the other places in town failed at empathy and sympathy in such a basic way. They would rather have seen my dog close to death than to find a way to work with me. Based on this one experience, Ill never step foot in another clinic, and Ill advocate for Dr. Watkins, both for his expertise in care but also in his honest, direct approach to it: he set me straight on what needed to be done, relieving me once again to know that the quotes Id received from other places were bogus and he could find ways to use less invasive, less expensive procedures to keep my cost down while keeping my pet healthy. The doctor oozes confidence and compassion -- you can see right away that he loves his job. Not once did we feel like we were being treated less than because we were broke financially; in fact, with all the treats they gave my furbaby for all her cool tricks, and all the love they bestowed on her, youd have thought I slipped them all twenties for the extra TLC. But they didnt care about the money. They cared about the care.

Ive been calling around all of Indiana and even down into Kentucky trying to find a place to have my dogs to be spayed and neutered. Everyone is booked until late summer. Ive not even seen Dr. Watkins yet and they are looking through their schedule, trying to work my 5 large dogs in to be fixed in the next few weeks so we can leave. My husband passed away unexpectedly and we will be leaving soon to honor his wishes. Our 3 kiddos, our 5 livestock guardian great Pyreenes dogs, 3 Farm cats and I will all be in an rv. I simply can not manage their heat cycles like we were able to on our organic farm so they must be spayed and neutered. The human hormones will be thick enough in that small of a space without adding canine hormones to the mix. Heres to hope! Thank you to the folks at Watkins Pet Doc!

Dr. Kevin Watkins is a kind, compassionate, and skilled veterinarian. I have relied on him to care for my pets for the past 9 years, and have always been completely satisfied with the care he has given them, and also how well he explains their conditions to me. He will go above and beyond to help a sick or injured animal, and you dont find that with all vets. Many thanks to The PetsDoc staff for putting my mind at ease more than once, and for providing such great care for my fur babies.

They were all very kind. I absolutely loved going their, and they even seen my baby hamsters when they arent a small animal vet. My baby is doing well now, and can get around more easier, but will never gain full movement back in her foot. They did a great job and I absolutely will be taking my other animals to The Pet Docs from now on.

I just recently had to put one of my cats down, Id had her since I was just a little girl. Losing a pet is never easy, but the staff at Pets Doc did everything they could to make the experience as comfortable as possible for both me and my cat. . He even came to my house with his wife to do the procedure and they were both magnificent.

They are top of the line. The service is genuine. They care for the sensitivity of the owner and the animals. I had to have my cat euthanized. It was an emotional time and Doctor Watkins took care of it. He was very gentle and dedicated. Hes a good veterinarian, not arrogant or self-centered.

Dr. Watkins cared for our dog as a puppy when he needed to have hernia surgery. We have been going to him since and he recently advised us about a slipped tendon he had in his rear leg. We find that Dr. Watkins clearly cares for the welfare of his patients. He is a very skilled vet.
