As the other 2 reviews(one not posted) mentions be very careful. They create a treatment plan that will leave you broke and to top it off they lie about "why your insurance wasnt covered". my wife went to see them and they said she had signs of "pre" gum disease and a bunch of other stuff. after getting a bunch of work done on one occasion they did some work on wifes tooth that they should have known it wasnt going to be paid as it had been done less than 2 years previously. Since my wife had been seen a lot that year they had recommended that she called before going in to make sure she hadnt gone over the limit of the insurance which I believe is $1,000 per year. In december 2016 the wife went for one of the many treatments and they sent her a bill for $250. When I called to ask why we had to pay them that the receptionist lied and said that it was rejected because we had exceeded the limit. I called the insurance and they provided the reason it was rejected was becuase the servise had been done previously. I than called the nurse again and she still lied to me saying why the payment had been rejected. I asked that if they can split the cost since we called every time before our appointments and that she had lied about the reason and they were very rude and basically said we had to pay everything. i appealed the charges to my insurance and they didnt seem to care either so ended up paying full cost for the procedure that if we had wait 1.5 months longer would have been covered by the insurance. They are so greedy that they did all the "work" that included extra money not covered by insurance than the cleaning which is covered by the insurance.

I have gone to Dr. Peddicord at Peddicord Family Dentistry for over a year now and I couldnt be happier. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but at Peddicord Family Dentistry the office and the staff really make you feel comfortable. In the past year I have had regular check ups, x-rays and, unfortunately, fillings done through Peddicord Family Dentistry and I have been very happy with everything Dr. Peddicord has done for me. She even recommended a endodontist in Ankeny that I could go to for my root canal. The office is new and very clean. The office has a lot of space so you dont feel cramped while you are there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Peddicord is very nice and makes going to the dentist easy and comfortable. I have recommended Peddicord Family Dentistry to many of my friends and family. I highly recommend you check out Peddicord Family Dentistry if you are looking for a new and/or different dentist.

Peddicord Family Dentistry is awesome! - Knowledgeable - Dr. Peddicord knows what she is doing. She stays up to do date with new techniques, procedures and products. She tells you what she is doing and why the whole time shes with you. - Comfortable - Peddicord Family Dentistry is very comfortable for a doctors office. She hands you the remote and moves the TV screen over you so you can watch whatever you want while shes working. It feels like home! - Friendly - Everyone at Dr. Peddicords office is easy to talk to. They take the time to get to know you and listen to you. I highly recommend you stop by and meet Dr. Peddicord, then schedule your appointment. As an HR Manager I have recommended Dr. Peddicord to many of my employees.

If youre new to the Ankeny/Des Moines area like me, trying to decide which dentist to go to is hard. I choose to go to Peddicord Family Dentistry and it was one of the easiest and best decisions I made! The office is brand new so everything is very nice and updated from the waiting/office area to the patient areas. The office is very neat and clean. The staff is excellent! The secretary and dental assistants are very friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. And Dr. Peddicord is extremely personable and she makes you feel very comfortable while you are at her dentist office. I have had 3 appointments so far and each one has been quick and simple. Overall I would highly recommend Peddicord Family Dentistry to anyone and everyone.

First appointment took an hour and a half. I was not notified beforehand that new patient cleanings are three times longer than normal. I also assumed I was seeing Dr. Peddicord as I wasnt told that my appointment was scheduled with someone else. The real kicker is I showed up for my appointment this afternoon and was informed that it wasnt actually until next week. As it was very possibly my confusion, I went home to check the appointment reminder. It said todays date. I was not notified of the appointment change. Needless to say, this practice has lost my business.

Ive had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Peddicord over the past 4 years Ive lived in the area. Ive had several procedures completed over that time. Dr. Peddicord was great at explaining where the issues were and the best options to treat those issues. Based on my experiences with other dentists - Dr. Peddicord goes above and beyond. I would definitely recommend to any family or friends. Side note - the staff is great too, super friendly and great to interact with!

SCAM ARTIST! Stay far away. I was told I needed several treatments that were totally unnecessary. Simply for these people to rack up a larger bill to line their own pockets. I have since received another opinion, with not even 1/15 of the treatment they deemed "necessary." Not what I would expect from a small, local dental practice. EXTREMELY UNETHICAL BUSINESS, a complaint has also been filed with the Dental Association.

Knowledgeable dentist, friendly staff, nice office. However when doing some quoting around, they are definitely on the high end of the price spectrum - double the cost for certain procedures. They also outsource some of their work to specialists that most other offices will do in house.
