I brought my dog here to have some minor wounds treated after a scuffle with some neighborhood dogs since it was the closest clinic to my house. I moved here recently and did not yet have a vet in Wichita. I came back home and read reviews of this clinic and was obviously worried that I made a mistake in bringing her here. I dont understand what all the negative reviews are about. I was unable to stay at the clinic while she was being treated since I had an appointment elsewhere, but he kept me informed by phone and was polite and clearly explained what needed to be done & why. He didnt recommend any unnecessary exams or anything like that, as some other reviewers say they experienced. Keep in mind that typically only someone who is upset will invest the time in going online and writing a review. Most people who were satisfied with the service will not go home and write one. Theres no way this guy would still be in business if everyone who went there felt the way some of these reviewers did. I felt obligated to write a positive review because I did not have the experience that so many other reviewers seem to have had. Yes, their prices are a little high, but they are by no means outrageous. And this is also the nicest and cleanest vet clinic I have ever seen. Youre paying for good, clean facilities. If you are on a budget this might not be your best option, but if you dont mind spending a little extra to know that your animal is being cared for in a clean building with better equipment than some of the less expensive clinics, then I would recommend bringing them here.

When walking in I automatically loved the place it was clean and everyone was nice. We went in because there was something seriously wrong with our dog. We told one of the vets his symptoms, which he told to the doctor. As soon as the doctor got into the room he touched the puppy looked in his eyes and told us it was just sore muscles. The vet tried to explain to the doctor that he thinks it might be something else but the doctor rudely cut him off and said its just sore muscles and walked away. He prescribed us medicine to relax his muscles then proceeded to raise his voice and lecture us about how we needed to have our dog on a leash (we didnt have one because the dog wouldnt walk and we were in a hurry to get to the clinic) which I tried to explain to him before I was cut of, once again, as he continued to blab on and on, I simply turned around and asked the clerk how much it was going to be. Turns out there WAS something wrong with my dog and sore muscles were not the problem. I was really disappointed by the doctors attitude and how he quickly dismissed the possibility of something serious being wrong with the dog. Wont be going back.

When my usually hyper poodle became listless and inactive, I thought I better take her in. Sometimes I will go to the discount vet but not for something possibly serious like this. I started going here because I was new to the area and this was the closest one but I only remain a client because I have complete confidence. Anyways, the veterinarian took x-rays and blood lab work and found 2 problems. The x-ray showed swollen discs on the vertebra and the lab indication were an infected pancreas due to high fat diet. We were prescribed drugs for both problems along with modified diet. We even arranged to have a surgery to remove a cyst on her eye lid and grooming for the following week. Plus we worked my other dog in for shots and scent gland cleaning on the follow up visit. All complete now and dog is better. The bill was a bit of a hit to the monthly budget for sure. And there is a limit to how much I will spend for my dog. But for test, diagnosis and remedy of two serious problems and anesthesia surgery for a third problem, I believe what I was charged was certainly within reason.

SUPER MONEY HUNGRY! Although, my baby was super sick and thankfully the vet saved him I did not for one second feel comfortable or safe leaving him for the tests that were done on him! We were asked to bring him back for a follow up (which, gave me ease because I wanted to make sure he was 100% okay and clear). The follow up was not even 3 minutes long he basically just looked at him and told us we could leave. Not only that but he was extremely impatient and kept rushing us to get him on the scale making my baby more scared! If Im asked to come back for a follow up Id like to know that youre not just gonna stare at my baby and with one glance tell me hes clear. The staff has never given me a problem and has been nice to my baby but from that day my baby got sick and when I call for questions they are very snarky and I feel judged. I would have bought the product that I was talked to about but because of how uncomfortable they made me feel and the way I was rushed I didnt. Needless to say, my baby and I will not come back here!

I have used this vet for years, the prices are high, but Ive ignored this due to convenience. However, on my last boarding ($14)/day, now they are also enforcing a $120 two stage Canine Influenza shot requirement to board. Yes, Canine Influeza is a real concern, but its also very rare and is usually confined to Dog Shows and Greyhound Parks. Dogs who frequent places where large numbers of dogs congregate and mingle. For my part and from what Ive read, this requirement for a Canine Influenza shot I s a scam... The shot is way overpriced, based on a single strain, and theres no yearly re-mix of the formula because the outbreaks are so few and far between. Money hungry properly defines this business. I will be looking for a new Vet before our next vacation.

Have been here several times. They have always been very professional. They took care of my dog, Buddy. The prices are high on some services, products, but available. I buy my dogs Nexgard & Heartgard online. The Clinic and I had a disagreement on getting stuff online. They say heartgard and Nexgard are only to be bought with a certain wording, or else the product is illegal and possibly unsafe. My dog has never had a problem with the heart hard & Nexgard purchased online. The company makes and sells these products to vets at clinics and online vets. They do care. If you are unhappy with this clinics prices, then you may want to shop around for other vet clinics.

They do not take care of the dogs well. Once our dog came home beaten up because they let our other dog near her. They were told not to be allowed together. In addition, they overcharge for boarding and shots. A simple bordatella shot is 28 dollars. Its 15-17 at most clinics. For boarding, they charge an extra day if you pick up after 10 am. I was charged four days and my dogs werent even there 72 hours. When i asked to speak with the doctor about it, he was rude and would only say everyone does it this way (they dont). I will not be sending my dogs back to animal clinic. I suggest you dont either.
