Would not recommend this place to anyone. Got off work at 5 and came home to my cat being extremely sick and struggling to breathe. Went straight to penny paws since its the closest vet and they didnt close till 6. Showed up at 5:30, and after waiting there for 12 minutes, got told to go somewhere else because they were closing soon.... So at 5:42 (only reason I know is because I checked my phone) the girl behind the counter sent us to another vets office down the road, that according to her they send people too all the time. Apparently no one bothered to tell her they ALSO closed at 6! I mean I get it that everyone wants to go home early, but how ignorant do you have to be to recommend another place that you do not have to time to make it before they lock the doors too? Got to the next clinic to locked doors. Our cat took his last breath as we pulled into the parking lot of the 3rd vets office. I dont know that there is anything that penny paws could have done for our cat, but it would have been nice to know or at least sent to a place that was open so we didnt waste time... oh well hope they all got home a few minutes early.

After a recommendation, we went to Penny Paws for our Cocker Spaniel (Lacy), who had not been to a vet for well over four years. First, the office was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our appointment was at 2:30. and we were in without much of a wait at all. The fees are very reasonable, and what I like is that you are given an estimate on the spot for treatments so that you can pick and choose if you need to. We all agreed that it was time for Lacy to be fixed (as she is getting old and could have problems later on in life if not spayed). By the time we got home, I had an estimate for the procedure (and another) waiting for me in my email mailbox. Of course the staff is very kind to the animals and their owners. I wish all businesses operated with the same professionalism and compassion!

Brought a 4 month old kitten for vaccinations. The place smelled horrible and my baby was continuously screaming from the back while I was waiting in the lobby. I insisted they bring her to me and she came out growling and had expressed her anal glands. She had been for vaccines prior at a different vets office and had no trouble as I was with her the whole time. I came here because they were advertising low cost vaccines. Low cost isnt always better. She and I were extremely traumatized by the experience. I DO NOT recommend Penny Paws on Basswood Blvd. in Fort Worth. I was extremely dissatisfied.

I appreciate all the staff here at Penny Paws. They are very knowledgeable and gentle; as well as....super caring with animals. I went to another Vet who couldnt explain a lot of steps needed to treat my dog that has tested positive for heart worms. I would recommend this clinic for all your animals treatment and needs. The cost for care of my animals was at least 50 percent cheaper here. The staff here have much love for your pets. I want to Thank Ashley and staff for always being so caring and helpful with the needs of my dogs. Thank you for such excellent care.

This clinic is one of the best I have ever taken my animals to. I had a few bad experiences at the Richland Hills clinic prior to coming to the Fort Worth location. Im really glad I gave this one a try before going elsewhere! Dr. Stephanie Arnold-Galan is an EXCELLENT vet. She treats all my animals (3 cats and 1 dog) and has been for two years now. I wouldnt consider taking my fur babies anywhere else. If youve had a bad experience at the Richland Hills clinic, please do yourself and your pets a favor and give Dr. Arnold a try. You wont be sorry!

I really like this clinic. I get my dogs vaccinated here. I brought my old cat (16) in because she was showing signs of not feeling well. Dr Arnold was so caring with her. Turns out it was just a urinary tract infection. Dr Arnold insured us that our cat was very healthy for an old cat and she has many years left. This clinic is very caring and very reasonable with cost. Most vet clinics now a day charge way too much. Highly recommend this location.

Ive been using this location for a little over a year and NEVER have I ever witnessed a young woman so irritated and unhappy working the front desk. She was rude to me, rude to her co-worker, rude on a phone call to a client who was obviously inquiring about putting his beloved pet to sleep. People like her should NOT be working the front desk, or anywhere with animals, period. You have lost my business. This was on 11/7/16.

Been going here for years but went to get my dogs shots today. Lady helping didnt know the prevention meds, went inside to get clarification. Ive never heard of a clinic making you pay for a prescription. What happened to customer is right? These people argue with you no matter what you say. Not sure if ownership has changed or what but this is not the clinic I started going to. Extremely upset & will now have to find a new vet.

This, being the only VET clinic Ive ever been to, is good. My doggie unfortunately doesnt share this opinion. We have always been met with friendly staff members. I would give this a 5 stars if it werent for the fast-talking gal that brought my doggie to me about how to care for my dog. I did not want to keep saying "what?, huh?" I understood the key parts meds 1/2 dose and cone 2wks. Yes, I would recommend this clinic.

Dr.Arnold and her staff were so wonderful! They truly have compassion for the animals and their owners! They took such great care of our Nemo when he needed emergency surgery. They were optimistic and affectionate towards him. I will definitely go back for any pet needs we have and will always be greatful for the love and care that they showed! They have a natural love for animals and a desire to help them!

Our first experience with them was their Saturday low cost vaccine clinic. It was quick and their employees were very friendly. We came in today for our older dog and they explained all our options clearly and answered all questions we could think of. They were very sweet with our Miller boy. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for your professionalism and your kindness!

The only reason this isnt one star is that the vet herself is terrific. But - if you want a clinic that can see you and has knowledgeable front desk staff, neither location is any good. They both say to call the other, cant approximate wait times, and just dont seem to want our business. If you just go for shots, they are fine. Anything else, find a different place.

I only came here because to get my fur baby to her vet Saturday morning I would have to spend a few hours there, plus its supposed to be a "low-cost clinic." I could have gotten out of my regular vet spending maybe $50-$60 for what I was charged here-here I paid triple. Staff was also very unfriendly, I did not feel comfortable here and will not be returning.
