We took my 9 y.o. Grandson to the Emergency Room for possible secondary drowning. They took one set of vitals when we arrived. After an hour we were placed in a room where no one came to check on him for over 5 hours. We questioned the nursing staff on several occasions about how long the wait would be and after waiting for 5 hrs we asked to speak to the Charge Nurse. It took several request and 30 min before she finally showed up. We complained about them not even taking a set of vitals in that 5 hr time frame. She sent someone in to take a set of vitals. It was another hour before the doctor finally came in to see him. We complained to him also. He did a quick exam (less than 10 min) and discharged him home. He suggested we put something in writing to Administration. He also complained how they only allow 1 doctor on nights where 2 were there during the day, and he sees just as many patients on nights. I would never take my Grandchild to this hospital again.

My family and I have been to the ER here multiple times and none of the experiences have been positive. Due to the location of this hospital, it seemed convenient to utilize their services, however I will never go back again unless it is absolutely life or death and they are able to transport to a real hospital with doctors who actually care about taking care of their patients. These doctors would prefer to give you ibuprofen and diagnose bronchitis as seasonal allergies then do a chest Xray for a deep, productive cough and wheezing. Also, a fractured bone apparently requires nothing more than ice and ibuprofen to heal. Quite possibly the worst ER I have ever been to.

Literally the worst ER you can go to. Went yesterday with immense pain in my hips, legs, and kidney area. Im extremely sick with a terrible cough and congested head. Dr. Thomas came in, said my flu and urine test were fine so he gave me a shot of Toradol and told me to take OTC medicine. Went to Bowling Green to get a second opinion as this makes the 3rd day and was told I have bronchitis, was given antibiotics, and cough syrup. I swear, PLEASE dont go here. This is the 3rd time Ive had bad experiences with them. Stay away!

I recently had a light heart attack and was taken to the ER and I was treated as well as anyone could want to be and fast as possible. Even if its a slow day the day you are there other patients are there also and need to be cared for. A lot of people go to the ER just to get pain meds. That takes a lot of time away from the patients who actually need care. I think we have one of the best Medical Centers around and the DRs and staff do a great job and do actually care about their patients.

This is a good hospital. Especially for a regional one. I have been to quite a few regional hospitals and many are awful. People seem to think hospitals should be magic factories where they show up and things are just healed. I have yet to see any patient here not being well taken care of. People often only write reviews when they have something to complain about. I think this hospital does a fine job.

My daughter is only 2months old. She had a possible seizure and I work in elizabethtown. She had been there for an hour in the emergency room. When I arrived it was another hour before anyone came in. The did test on her and we waited another 3 hours before they came back in. No nurses checked up on her. All they wanted to do is gossip and not check up on infant who could have a seizure.

Been there twice with no results after waiting in room where I waited for several hours checked blood work and failed to tell me my liver enzymes were up now still very sick!!!!!! I just pray when people come to er theres a reason 4 them being there and they evaluate patients properly!!!!Its drs oath to heal the sick!!!!!!

Staff refused to listen to anything I had to say. Told them I passed out when given multiple shots. Nurse said she didnt care, and when I hit the floor they would pick me back up. Left hospital with more pain than when I arrived

My grievous with this hospital is you cant get back their automatic answering system. It puts you though this process that half the time ends with theres no operator to take your call. .

Went to er with cut on head no stitches but super glued it. The bill over $11,000 I have to pay$3,120 insurance would not pay. Looks like to me it should be illegal to rob people.
