We are new to the Shelbyville area and knew that we would eventually need to find a vet for our Shorkie, Dutch. However, he had other plans when he jumped off the chair and hurt his leg. That had us scrambling looking for a vet that would take us last minute. After calling two other vets and feeling frustrated that no one would help, East Shelby told us to bring him on in. We were so grateful for that and thankfully Dutch was just fine. He was quickly back to his wild, crazy self. Once there we found a wonderful, caring vet...Dr. Taylor and staff were absolutely awesome. My husband and I had to laugh when the lady that we assumed was the "receptionist" as she was the one that greeted us at the desk and had us fill out paperwork...she then walked into the room later in her lab coat and introduced herself as the vet. Talk about small town feel! Loved it. She was so attentive to all of Dutchs needs and helped us to understand more fully the need for more intensive dental care...no other vet had ever done that. We were so grateful to them and are excited that we now have our Shelbyville vet!

Today was my first experience with East Shelbyville Animal Clinc. I cant say enough about this place and there caring staff. My dog Cruizer became very ill over night even though this wasnt my regular vet I called and told them my situation. They immediately told me they would work him in. When I arrived and they saw how sick he was all attention was dedicated to him. He still not out of the woods yet but I feel they went above and beyond. I could not be happier with the caring staff especially Dr. Taylor. This place has my business forever and the highest recommendation I could possibly give. I feel that my fur baby is here because of the loving staff. I m truly grateful. Joy Gambrell

I have been a customer for 8 years, and I can say that I have never been disappointed in the service I have received at ESAC. Doctors Belcher and Taylor are both extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, and honest/straightforward with me as to what the issue is and what my options are. The staff is amazing. Not only are they well trained in veterinary care, they are also friendly and take the time to teach me how to give medical care at home, when needed. Occasionally, there is a small waiting time, but thats a consequence of the excellent service. I have 7 pets, and I recommend ESAC to anyone looking for a veterinarian.

We have been a client of this clinic for the past 8 years. I have dogs that compete at the National level in several different dog sports making it most important that they are kept as healthy as possible. Dr Taylor and her crew have done an amazing job of this. They are quick to refer us to other specialists if they dont think they are capable of handling the problem which havent been many thanks to their care. One of their vet techs actually helped my husband save the life of my #1 dog when she was choking. A huge thanks to all the caring, competent employees of East Shelbyville Animal Clinic.

The veterinarians and staff at East Shelbyville Animal Clinic are the best you will find anywhere. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Belchers expertise, care and compassion for both my animals (and myself) have guided me through some pretty tough times over the past 15 years. My labrador Charlie and my coyote mix Parker were well taken care of and I want to thank everybody at the clinic again for all theyve done over the years. If you are looking for an excellent vet, look no further! I do not live in Kentucky anymore, and I am going to miss East Shelbyville Animal Clinic. They are THAT GOOD in all they do.

The staff is awesome and very obviously adores all their pet clients. Its a pleasure to take my Lexi there for her weekly Day Care visit. It allows me a worry free Ladies Day Out to do my chores and take care of my weekly business 35 miles away. The staff is very considerate not only of Lexi, but takes interest in my concerns as well. Lexi has also had longer term stays and its worked out great. They always make sure shes clean and fluffed since she loves her outdoor play with her canine buddies. I would definitely recommend ESAC to pet owners

They take such good care of Buttons my Maltese , and have been doing so for the last eleven years . I would not take her any were else DR Taylor has taken such great care of her and when Buttons sees her she gets so exited we love her . Thank you for such Great care Linda Wymer Buttons Mom I would recommend East Shelby Animal Clinic to all of my friends and I all ready have family and friends going there .

Dr. Taylor and her staff were caring and comforting when our dog, Duffy, began to show signs of canine dementia. We tried medication to relieve his symptoms and alleviate any pain he might be suffering, but without success. Dr. Taylor kindly counseled us when we decided to euthanize him because he was so miserable. We just got a new rescue dog and cant wait to introduce her to Dr. Taylor!

They are so caring, if they are not sure what is going on they find out! They really care about their clients and their owners and treat them both with sensitivity. I had to have my precious pet of 15 years put down due to health reasons. Dr. Taylor and her staff were so compassionate and caring. They helped make the experience as easy and comfortable as possible for both my pet and me. As hard as it was, I seriously cant express how amazing and wonderful they were through the whole ordeal. We will be lifelong customers of ESAC.

I have been taking Starr to EASC since she was a kitten and we determined she had some health challenges. We expected her to live a couple of years but shes now 15 years old! I owe it to the great care that she has gotten from Dr. Taylor and the rest of the staff there! They really care about their patients and their owners. Thank you all!

The receptionist was very helpful and polite in answering my questions. When I got seen, they took immediate care of my pet. Dr. Hays responded very quickly and for me an appointment with a specialist to help further the care of my pet. This is where my other powys are going for their regular vet as well. They showed compassion towards my pet.

I know we get good, affordable care from talking with family and friends in other cities. Dr. Belcher is so caring and doesnt recommend anything that is not necessary.
