WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY DOGS, AND I SPECIFICALLY STATED THAT I DID NOT WANT ANY OF THE EXAMS DONE. ALL I WANTED WAS THE SHOTS REQUIRED AND I BROUGHT MY OTHER DOG IN JUST TO GET HER NAILS TRIMMED. i WAS QUOTED A PRICE OF $115.50 FOR THE SHOTS AND 11.95 FOR THE NAIL TRIM. I ASKED MY SON TO TAKE THEM IN BECAUSE I HAD ALREADY TOLD THE STAFF WHAT I NEEDED DONE. WHEN THEY WENT IN THE BACK FOR EXAMS THEY TOLD MY SON THAT THEY WERE BOTH DUE FOR SHOTS. THEY DID SHOTS AND TEST ON BOTH ANIMALS AFTER I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM (ON THAT THE DOG THAT WAS ORIGINALLY GOING IN FOR SHOTS) NOT TO DO THE EXAMS. THEY ASKED HIM IF HE JUST WANTED TO GET THE SHOTS ON BOTH. HE SAID YES FIGURING THAT THE PRICE THAT WAS QUOTED WOULD BE THE SAME ON THE OTHER DOG. HE WAS NOT QUOTED ANY PRICES ON THE SHOTS GIVEN TO THE SECOND DOG OR QUOTED ON PRICES FOR THE MEDICINE THEY GAVE BOTH DOGS WHICH WAS AN EXTRA $150. SO INSTEAD OF PAYING $127.45 PLUS TAX MY SON HAD TO PAY $466. THAT IS STEEP FOR A SINGLE MOM ON A BUDGET. THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD HAVE DONE BOTH DOGS FOR THAT AT THE SAME TIME. THE OFFICE MANAGER CALLED ME BACK AFTER I CALLED AND COMPLAINED AND DID NOT OFFER ASSISTANCE OR WORK WITH ME IN ANY WAY FOR THE CONFUSION AND EXTRA EXPENSE THEY CAUSED. I ASKED IF I COULD TAKE THE MEDICINE BACK AND GET THE MONEY BACK SINCE I DID NOT WANT THE MEDICINE. SHE SAID THAT SHE COULD NOT TAKE ANY MEDICINE BACK ONCE IT LEFT THE BUILDING. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE WOULD HAVE OFFERED A SOLUTION TO KEEP THE CUSTOMER HAPPY. THEY SAW MY SON COMING AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HIM. WHAT IS THE POINT IN MAKING A SPECIFIC APPOINTMENT AND THEM JUST DOING WHAT THEY WANT.

They seem to be guessing their way through treatments. Totally disappointed. My cat was there for all shots, flea prevention treatment, and for spaying. Brought her back twice for patchy hairloss. First diagnosis, "shes neurotic, get her pheromones." The second time, "she has an allergy" (got a steroid shot) and worm treatment. Still losing hair. Called, was told "well, she has fleas." Which is it??? Meanwhile my poor kitty is licking herself bare. The staff seems friendly enough, but I dont think they know what theyre doing. All that combined with providing poor information in general, I am changing vets. :(

Acadian is a all around great place to take your animal whether it be a cat or dog. The treatment from the staff is amazing friendly and welcoming and I never leave with any of my questions unanswered. I board my animals there on a regular basis even for just daycare and they become more and more excited every time we return. Both vets are very well established and make things very easy for me to comprehend. I found the prices very reasonable as a matter of fact. Ive taken my pets numerous places and havent ever been to such a nice clinic as Acadian.

The other reviewer must not have taken the time to see the compassion that takes place here. I have been a client of Acadian Veterinary Clinic now for 21 years, with many different pets and rescues during this time. If you want the best care this is the place to go. I can tell the entire staff really cares about my pets and all animals. I have never received better care and attention at any other vet hospital than I did here. They are definitely the BEST! Quality care means a lot to me and I do believe the prices are reasonable.

From the time we walk in the door my dogs are ecstatic seeing the front office staff. They are always friendly and make one feel at home. Dr Rists manner with my dogs is patient, compassionate and he always explains in detail whatever may be going on. The back office staff treat my dogs like they belonged to them. I highly recommend.

If you want quality care for your fur babies I highly recommend Lori and Wayne Rist. They are truly compassionate and caring toward our pets. The prices are in line with any other reputable vet in the area. The staff is phenomenal. They always have a smile and a warm greeting for the pets and parents.

I have been going there for ten years. The quality of care has been exceptional. Exactly what you would want in a vet honest and caring. Customer service is great. Prices are very reasonable. You certainly get what you pay for.

Co-Woker had very bad experience with them. Apparently, this is a place that takes advantage of add extra vet fees when not needed. If you are looking for communication about your pet and on a budget I recommend another vet.

Wayne Rist is not about caring for animals unless you have some money to pay for his overpriced charges. This vet was often extremely rude and very much over priced when compared to other local vets.

On two separate days in emergency situations, they would not see my dog, even after they was told she was having seizures. Total disregard for the animals health.
