I took my Shitzu in for a trim and a wash...The first appointment was at 10am...We didnt have his shot records so we had to come back home and get the shot records and then make another appointment...The next appointment was at 12, the same day...We took our dog back and he needed a kennel cough shot...Ive never heard of this in the past 23 years of dog ownership...So we paid for the shot...He was never taken back to get his wash or cut for another hour...By this time it was around 2....We were told to leave him there and they would call us when he was ready...They never called...I had to go back there and they told me that he had fleas and needed a flea dip...My dog has never had fleas and never had fleas before he went there...So my total for my dog to be washed and cut...along with the flea dip and shot...Mind you this is a miniature Shitzu...was $90...Ridiculous...Noone should ever have to pay that...I have another lady that takes care of him now and she charges $20 for a nice cut and wash...I was so upset with the quality of work...and he wasnt done til 5 pm that night

Took a tour of their boarding facility and was extremely appalled at the quality of their facility and the lack of cleanliness. As someone who works at a veterinary facility with a pet hotel, I went in to find something close to home in case of emergencies. Every outdoor kennel I looked into had a pile of vomit, urine, and feces that the dogs were stepping to and getting dirty in. The girl giving me a tour said they clean the kennels twice a day which was apparent as mid day and kennels all have some sort of bodily excretion in them which they must have had sitting there all day. I was walked through a grooming/laundry area where the floors were soaked which is also when I noticed the employee was wearing flip flops. Shown the large dog kennels and immediately saw a dog too big for the cage it was put into. And unless you pay extra for them to be taken out they sit there all day. I also noticed none of the outdoor dogs had bedding with them so theyre sitting on concrete. I would not take my dog here.

I can only say good things about my experiences here. They are the only vets in the towson area that treats smaller animals like rats. John Fioramonti is personable, knowledgable, and matter-of-fact. The receptionists and assistants have always taken great care of my animal, and are always friendly and willing to help. The office is small but clean. I was always able to be fit in for emergency appointments. Prices are reasonable and affordable. When my rat died after a lengthy illness, I received a personal call from Dr. Fioramonti expressing his condolences. Not a card, not an email from the receptionists, a personal phone call. For me, that was huge. Dr. Fioramonti did everything he possibly could for my boy. This man is truly invested in and cares about your animals. Five stars. This is honestly my perfect vet and I would definitely take my pets here in the future.

I visited Towson Veterinarian Hospital about a month ago with a young homeless cat I rescued from a marina. I was pressed to get him to a vet as soon as possible since he was very frail and seemed sickly. I had never been to Towson Veterinarian Hospital before, and when I called, they were able to squeeze me in without a problem (most vets need at least a weeks notice for an appointment). They were very welcoming and were eager to help get my helpless cat in healthy condition. The vet was very thorough and gave him all of his shots, tested him for various feline diseases, and gave me medication for him all at a reasonable price. Needless to say, my once helpless and homeless cat (now named Bowley) is healthy, happy and officially a member of my family -- All thanks to Towson Veterinarian Hospital! Such a great place :)

Took my puppy to board here over a three day weekend. They obviously NEVER let him out of the crate and he was very distressed when I picked him up. When I took him home put and him in his crate overnight as usual, he peed and pooped on himself in the crate. He had never, ever done this before and I"m certain its because this vet kennel never took him out of the crate to relieve himself and just left him alone in there, suffering until he relieved himself in the enclosure. I wouldnt recommend this place- Id go somewhere else for boarding. I feel like a terrible person for putting my dog through that, but I figured that a vet of all people would know to WALK dogs.

Took my puppy and cat in for shots today and had specifically asked for only the shots. The vet noticed my cat had a bit of plaque and they both needed their nails done. The vet went ahead and scraped some of the plaque off and trimmed their nails, without saying anything to me, I let it happen because I thoughtouch it might be a favor the vet was doing.... nope... my just a couple shots vet visit turned into a $360 bill. The office is dirty and I will never go back. The vets dont seem like they care and the employees walk in and out of the room while your pet is being looked at.. very unprofessional.

We have boarded our pup a couple of times and its always been a wonderful experience. Except for today. We boarded him for 4 days and when we went to pick him up, we were shocked to see how dirty he was. Despite the fact that we had bathed him before boarding, his paws and tail were all filthy and he was smelling so bad. They agreed to bathe him. When we asked them to dry him as well, as we were taking him in the car for another hour, this particular staff did not respond well and slammed the door. Though the doctor was nice and apologetic. They need to pay better attention to the boarding conditions.

We moved to the Baltimore area a year and a half ago and searched for a nice place to board our dog that didnt break the bank. We stumbled upon Towson Veterinary clinic after trying two other places that didnt fit (one was cheap but was in a shady neighborhood and had filthy facilities, the other was clean and nice but more expensive than our hotel room!). This place is in the middle, not fancy, but clean, not cheap, but reasonable. The staff is very friendly and professional. My dog is always excited to be dropped off, and that pretty much says it all!

I brought my two german shepherd puppies here twice and both experiences were awful. The vets seem like they are not interested or care about the animals at all, very cold and distant. I want a vet that is warm and welcoming, and this is definitely not the place. And whoever tells you the prices are reasonable, they have to be joking. Two visits for basic puupy shots cost me close to $1,000, it was unbelievable. I will never go back to this place, I suggest you look around the place and see for yourself before you decide on this place.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Towson Veterinarian Hospital. Dr F and his staff are absolutely wonderful and they truly care about and love animals. I have never had to wait to get an appointment, they are very flexible in their scheduling and very professional when you arrive. They have taken great care of my dog Tucker and I recommend them to everyone I know. Even after moving down into the city, I still make the drive up to Towson so that my dog can get the best possible care.
