Ive taken my dog here the majority, if not the entirety, of his 11 year life... I estimate 15 times at least. Hes had multiple minor surgeries here, countless checkups, etc. In the past, Ive taken another dog and cat here as well. Thousands of dollars of business for Animal Clinic and Wellness Center. Not sure why, but after moving across the country to San Francisco, I have had difficulty getting my pets records sent to my new vet. I thought this was strange but brushed it off as a minor annoyance and forgot about it. Im sorry that I moved, Animal Clinic & Wellness Center, but holding my dogs records hostage is unethical and as unprofessional as it gets. I needed these records sent as I recently followed Animal Clinic and Wellness Centers advice and had my dogs teeth cleaned under anesthesia. I had this done at my new vet in SF. Prior to seeing this new vet, I ran out of heart worm medication. I ordered new medication online and attempted to get approval for the prescription (which is ridiculous) from Animal Clinic and Wellness Center. I figured this would be no problem for them. The first time I tried, the online pharmacy reported that Animal Clinic & Wellness Center claimed they did not have a dog on record by my Dogs name. So I called to make sure they did, in fact, have his records on hand and ordered again. I just contacted the online pharmacist again (its been quite a while since I first ordered and my dog is now over a month behind on his heart worm treatment) and was told that Animal Clinic & Wellness Center would not write the prescription because my dog is no longer a patient at their clinic. Im speechless. I had an appointment with you ~6 months ago and you knew I was moving to the other side of the country. Thanks for giving me a headache Animal Clinic & Wellness Center. I can imagine that you probably make a few extra bucks every year by having a policy not allowing clients to order through online pharmacies. If youre willing to sacrifice your relationship with a long term client for a few dollars, so be it. I wont be back.

Very thankful to this vet that they were open on a Sunday and got to squeeze in a visit for an emergency leg break of a 13 week old puppy. The establishment is nice, and the staff is super friendly. I rate this establishment a 2 star because besides those factors, our experience has been a headache. After the immediate care they reffered us to a 24 hour vet, reccomending we leave our puppy for overnight care. Straight to the next vet we go, to wait around 4 hours to be told "you really have no need to be here." INFURIATING!!! I paid for two emergency vet visits in one day, just to have the second one say the follow up care recommended was unnecessary and do absolutely nothing but prescribe pain medication that Animal Clinic and Wellness Center could have provided. I understand the vet was providing her best opinion for course of action, its just hard to digest when the next vet you visit and was recommended to by that exact vet tells you "thats over the top and unnecessary." At the clinic we had a splint put in place and x-rays taken. Splint was nicely done, but I have been waiting on x-rays to be sent to multiple vets for two days. As I currently write this review I have been waiting 2 hours in the surgeons waiting room waiting on the xrays to arrive, ones that were promised to be sent a day ago. Im sure if it were a run of the mill case they do excellently. In my case I was personally unimpressed and will not return.

Weve have used their vet services and boarding services for both our dogs. Let me tell you in regards to the vet service its amazing. The vet techs are so lovable with our Gunther and Ace. As for boarding we first used them last November for one overnight stay and and no issues other than the two fellas being in one room and causing havoc with playing. This time around we boarded them for 4 days we took a blanket, toys, food and happy as can be no crying when being dropped off or any issues. This time they had separate rooms.

Very happy with the loving, caring and compassion the kind staff have shown my beloved Cocker Spaniel, Miles. He has had 2 surgeries there. They were so caring dealing with me. I believe Miles was less scared then him momma was. The vet was wonderful when she saw how scared and teary eyed I was and was very consoling and knew just what to say and do. I will never go anywhere else. Very pleased and am very trusting of their care of my fur baby.

Both visits to Animal Clinic and Wellness were VERY good. My Westie wasnt too intimidated and my purse wasnt emptied too badly. The "health plan" is a great idea and I will continue to visit here whenever its needed.

Terrific vets and staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Dr Smith is my favorite vet! She helped my elderly Siamese cat through chronic kidney disease for almost 4 years

Very helpful, courteous, concerned. Would recommend highly. I love their daycare. You can even check on your fur baby through a camera. I wouldnt take my baby anywhere else.

Best care for my dog from the vet. When he stays with them in the kennel, he always comes out happy. Other places we have boarded him, he comes out shy.
