Bottom Line: Dr. Chite was good, but mixing up vaccines is inexcusable. I dont know whether I will be back. After looking for quite a while online for reviews on doctors that also accepted my insurance, I settled on Dr. Chite. I got to my 2:00 appointment at 1:45, and was seen a little after 2:15. Dr. Chite came quickly into the room and he asked questions and checked me over. After the exam he said the technicians would be in to draw my blood and give me a flu shot... I corrected him and said I needed a tetanus shot. I waited about 20 more minutes and then the nurse came in. She had me sign a consent form that was for my tetanus shot and two forms saying I was authorizing them to draw my blood. When I told her I had never had my blood drawn before, she said needed a supervisor to oversee, because she was new to the practice and that was their policy. So I had to wait another 5 minutes for the supervisor to get there. They began to draw my blood and I started feeling like I was going to pass out. So they let me lie down and the supervisor finished drawing my blood. Meanwhile, the technician administered the "tetanus" shot. After this was over, they gave me a glucose tablet and some water and let me sit there. They came back in a few minutes and said that Dr. Chite wanted to talk to me. Another 5-10 minutes passed by and Dr. Chite came in and informed me that the vaccine I had received was actually for Hep B. One of the technicians that pulled the vaccine had obviously pulled the wrong one. Dr. Chite assured me that there was nothing medically serious that would occur as a result of the wrong vaccine, that it would just act as a booster. He asked me if I still wanted a tetanus shot, and I was a little hesitant, but I was already there, and I needed it done. My concern is that this could have been worse. This just shouldnt happen. The practice manager then came in and apologized for what had happened, and informed me that the technician had been suspended already. Its good to see that action was taken, but more importantly, Id like to see changes made to the system so that this doesnt happen to someone else. I will follow up with them when I get my test results and see if there has been anything else done as a result of this. Finally, the senior technician came in and administered (what I hope was) the tetanus shot. All in all, I got there at 1:45 and did not leave until a little after 4. It wasnt the best experience to say the least. I dont know if I will be returning, but am leaning towards not; not because of Dr. Chite, but because of the wait times and this mixup.. I am worried what else might happen.

Extremely dissapointed - shopping now for a new family doctor. At my last appoint with Dr. Chite this summer, they were running behind and I had to wait for 45 minutes - i had my newborn daughter with me and it was quite inconvenient to be there that long. Just today, my husband went in for a physical that I scheduled for him because he hasnt had one in years - he didnt want one - but I insisted. I was hoping he could talk to the doctor about different small ailments hes been having. What happened? The appointment was 9am on a Friday and it took 50 minutes before Dr. Chite saw him -and then the Dr. was in and out in 5 minutes. Then my husband had to wait another 30 minutes for them to draw his blood. It was a complete waste of time. No quality of care. Dr. only asked personal history information and did a basic once over - and was in and out so quickly my husband didnt have a chance to ask any of his questions. Plus by then he was just overall irritated for being made to wait for so long. Physicals are scheduled on certain pre-set days - we scheduled this one over a month ago - theres really no excuse for making a patient wait so long and then giving such rushed treatment. I hope to find a new family doctor that puts an emphasis on "patient care". Im through with this practice.

This is possibly the worst doctors office Ive ever had the displeasure of stepping foot in. I scheduled an appointment on my lunch hour, at 12:30. I sat in the waiting area for almost an hour before I was seen by Dr. Adler. I was lead into the physician area, where the nurse said nothing as she waited near a scale. I asked, "Do you want me to get on the scale?" Maybe she could have opened her mouth and said what she wanted me to do, instead of staring at me like Im crazy. Next, I was lead into the room, and waited another 10-15 minutes to see the doctor. At this point, it is almost 1:40. I get a sly, "Sorry, Im running behind." My visit with Dr. Adler took about ten minutes all together. I wasted a lot of time here. If youre looking for a punctual, friendly, and considerate doctors office, keep looking. I usually never write reviews, but this place is horrible.

Ive never had a problem with this location and am surprised by the negative reviews. Ive been seeing a great doctor here regularly for almost three years and the only frustrating experience was my very first visit when I showed up 20 minutes late because google maps directed me to the old building, and they had me reschedule. As annoying as that was, its standard practice, so I cant hold that against them. None of the people at reception have ever been rude to me. Theyre not extremely friendly or anything, but they do their jobs and thats whats important. Ive requested appointments on short notice for pressing concerns and have always been given prompt appointments.

MPC thinks that the patient portal is effective doctor patient communication. It is not! I have been a patient for years, but recently the support staff appear to be untrained and incompetent. When I expressed my concerns to the office manager, she doesnt seem to think that there is a problem. I even contacted the headquarters and got a similar response. I hope that no one has a serious health issue because of their lack of follow up. Please be careful putting your health care in their hands.

I have been seeing Dr Rutkowski for over 14 years (when they were located in Odenton). Love their new hours! I never have a problem getting an appointment or getting refills. Usually Sharee brings me back for vitals & I just love her to pieces. Dr Rutkowski is always helpful & pleasant. I dont think Ive ever left dissatisfied, no matter what she always makes you feel like you MATTER. Which is something that is lacking a lot these days in Dr Offices!
