Mina saw my 15YO daughter for therapy. My daughter is a really good kid but she had become influenced by her friends in ways I didn’t like. She was spending too much time texting, on the computer, and in her room. Her grades were suffering and she was not turning in homework. I was worried she was becoming depressed and angry but I didn’t know why. I called Mina because my conversations with my daughter were going nowhere and I felt that I couldn’t trust her anymore. Family therapy sessions with Mina were instrumental in helping me form a deeper, more honest relationship with my daughter. Mina knows how to work with teenagers and my daughter opened up to her right away. Mina is a wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable therapist. I highly recommend her to parents who are dealing with difficult teenagers and trying to prepare them for college and successful independent life.

Mina worked with my 4 year old son and helped us with potty training/bedwetting, separation anxiety issues, fears, and am/pm routines. Mina used play therapy and art therapy-- very helpful in addressing my son’s issues without making him feel more anxious. My son loved going to see her every week in her home office. They played games, drew pictures, and worked on resolving all of his emotional and behavioral issues. My husband and I really benefited from her suggestions to us as parents. Mina is a Christian therapist who works with her heart (which is what initially drew me to her). Her home office is very convenient for anyone living in the Jacksonville/Phoenix/ Parkton/Monkton areas. It is also very homey and cozy. I highly recommend Mina and truly believe that she is the best child therapist in our area (after trying a few before I found her).
