This place is nice and clean but be cautious for all their hidden fees etc. my dog is on their "puppy plan" and got his shot, the doctor accidentally overdosed him and he reacted to it, I took him back and in order to SAVE HIS LIFE!!! they want to charge us while he is on the plan? wtf? We asked why are we paying for the doctors mistake when they admitted to making a mistake and they said, "because you want him to live dont you?". I am making a formal complaint and intend this to help people watch out for being conned right before their own eyes. By the way, we called Banfields hotline and explained to them the situation and they stated that my family is right and that they will resolve this situation. Their hotline is very friendly and helpful and actually speak English which is very helpful. ***Update*** The Banfield hotline routed this up to the President of their Company and she personally called us and told us that we would not be charged and that she was deeply sorry, that was very nice, she also gave us her direct number to give her a call if the staff at give us a problem when we go pick up our dog. No Stars for the staff at the Banfield in Waldorf MD 5 Stars for the customer service hotline for routing this up quickly and effectively, GOOD JOB guys!!!

Ive been taking my dogs to this location since 2013. At first it was great I took them a couple times a year, it was affordable, and the staff was really nice and understanding NOW HOWEVER, fast forward two years later and appointments are disappearing off books, records of purchasing medications are disappearing from their systems its just not the experience it used to be. I work hard for my money, so when I come in on Saturday and you refuse to give me a medication my dog needs but tell me its fine because they have a comprehensive on Wednesday (which I could have sworn was a dental and it happened to be so) and I have to take a day off, then you tell me no it was suppose to be a dental and the second appointment I had scheduled for a week from that disappeared, its really kind of ridiculous. Im tired of paying 80+ dollars a month for unacceptable customer service and a doctor that comes in the room for 2 seconds and NEVER completes a FULL physical exam. At the end of the day its not as "affordable" as they say it is. Plus, they roll out the dead animals RIGHT through the lobby in a trash can. They should really find a better system, because that is unsettling.

I would like to give no stars to these rude people. Who scam everyone that walks in their doors. They do not care about anything except your money. DO NOT GET THE "PLAN" because I got the puppy plan and every time I went there I still had to pay more the 50$ minimum. Go to Tractor Supply Company get the vaccines there and get the rabies and other stuff at the humane society. Also use natural remedies like: putting Apple cider vinigar in your dogs water to stop ticks and fleas. Also for antibiotics use oregano oil. All natural and your not getting scammed from a vet. They treated my dog badly there. They kept him all day no food or water or bathroom break. Also I never got talked to from the vet after my nutering on my puppy. They sent an assistant who didnt even know what to say or to do.

Great service. It sucks to have to drive an hour each way but I do it because the staff is kind and they really care about your pet. If its an emergency they do their best to fit you in. The wellness plans are a great choice if youre an overprotective parent or want just a great deal. I always hit snags when its time to order monthly treatments, but they are decent about handling it. They could use an expansion. The small waiting room is difficult when your pet is certain pet friendly.

I only brought my dog here because I had a free visit coupon. $400 later my and 3 visits my dog was no better. I took him to my regular vet and less than $100 he was better in 24 hours. They kept trying to give me the most expensive treatments and meds although I kept telling them I didnt have that kind of money. It wasnt even the treatment he needed. They just wanted the most money they could get withh no concern of my dogs health. Take your pets anywhere but here.

Banfield of Waldorf is my new vet for my two poodles (11 yrs. and 4 months). I find the plan to be great and the care and treatment of my dogs has been wonderful. The entire place is spotless compared to other vets that I have gone to. My appointments are always on time. The staff is very friendly and very helpful when I call in for a concern or question. I have never been happier with the care that my dogs have received.

Worst service Ive had after being with different Banfields. They lack the care and attention that medical practitioners should have, doesnt matter if its a person or a pet. Ive been calling and waiting for three weeks for a return call regarding my pet results. Once you pay for your services and walk out that door they no longer care about the well-being of your pet.
