Hello First impressions are priceless! I am a Director of major Federal Agency in which we are clients of Quest Diagnostics and like the famous words go, you never know who you maybe speaking with on the phone so in customer service or support when a potential client calls first impressions are priceless! I spoke with the Clinton MD branch of Quest Diagnostics andthe person who answerd the phone was terribly unprofessional, she appeared to be bored with an attitude and did absolutely nothing to help me find a clinic most suitable to my employees needs when asked. Her main goal was to rush me off the phone and her tone was as if I was interrupting her from a nap. I will never send any of my employees, candidates or other branches to this location with this person answering the phones. On the other hand, I called the Waldorf Branch and was greeted with a 360 degree change in attitude, customer service and eagerness to make sure I was taken cared of. She went over and beyond what most would have done and made sure I had all the right contact information and took extra time to locate the telephone numbers and locations to other branches of Quest that may suit my needs greater. This was a perfect Customer support and service call from a young lady named Donna. If you need to send your people to Quest and not sure of any info you may need I would give Donna a call first ! This is Top of the line service and whoever she works for she made a terrific example of what type of service my employees will receive when coming to Donnas branch. I never had to make a call of this nature since I have a department that usually handles it but today just to give someone a break, I made the call. I truly hope the Clinton Office does some training with the young lady who answered the call between 1and2:pm on 01/26/2010, and to Donna in Waldorf , Quest should honor Ms Donna with an acknowledgement of her profesionalism and make her a true example of what the market needs in customer service.! Well Done Donna

This was my first visit. I made an appointment on line. I got to the clinic about 10 minutes before my appointment and realized that I had left my insurance card at home. I asked if I could complete my appointment and go home and get my card afterwards. I explained that I lived only 5 minutes away. I was told that no services could be performed. I was asked my name and was told that I did not have an appointment. I explained that I had made the appointment on line. I was told that I did not have an appointment. I just feel as if the receptionist was not customer oriented. Why would I get up and come to the clinic if I did not feel that I had an appointment? The receptionist was blunt and not very helpful. Needless to say, first impressions for me was enough. I left the building and made an appointment somewhere else. Just a side note about the online reservation process. I checked my email after I left the office. I did received two emails and clicked the link to make my appointment for 8:45 am. I did not check to see if I received a confirmation email. I assumed that my appointment was made after I completed the appointment process.

I liked that the process was fast if you scheduled an appointment. However, they didnt really explain how the process works, how I will be paying, or how I will even get my results. They kind of just took my blood and said bye. This wouldnt be an issue if they would just pick up their phone when I call. This place literally never answers their phone.

I totally agree with this commentary. Steer very clear of the Clinton facility. Have used the Waldorf location and they are extremely courteous and professional!
