After visiting here my dog died. My best friend and closest companion was taken from me -through malpractice and negligence. We took our dog here to be treated for a paw wound. She was seen by not a doctor, but murderer, Anthony Hall. Less than three weeks later she died of kidney failure. The story: After being treated by Hall, we noticed our dog wasnt behaving the same. She wouldnt eat. She lost almost ten pounds in a matter of 6 days. And had absolutely no strength to do every day tasks, like walk! We took her back twice to see why. The first time she was seen again by Hall. The second time she was seen by a different doctor who, when noting the obvious malpractice of his colleague, immediately turned us away to seek help at a nearby animal hospital. He conveniently said their blood reading machines to diagnose her were down and that we needed to go to a nearby animal hospital. So, we went to VCA Southern Maryland Veterinary. They we were so helpful there and admitted my poor dog right away. After explaining to the doctor what weve been through the past few weeks, we could tell she immediately knew where the source of the issue was. She decided to keep her overnight to give her an IV and monitor her for a while. Not to mention do the much needed blood work to see what was going on. Less than 30 minutes later she called my family and diagnosed my dog with kidney failure. The take away: my dog was maltreated and prescribed an obscene amount of pain medicine causing her kidneys to fail. Another take away: if you value your pets life, dont bring them here. Waldorf animal clinic your hands are DRENCHING in cold blood. And of note, your flowers and cards wont bring back my best friend. Your sad attempt at condoling my family was far from appreciated. And to Mr. Hall, my family and I will be mourning this holiday as were reminded of this tragedy. But we hope yours is merry.

Growing up my family always took our pets to the Waldorf Animal Clinic. A few years ago I moved into my fiances house, which is about an hour away from Waldorf. I decided to try several different veterinary clinics that were closer to our house. NONE of the Veterinary Clinics can compare to Waldorf and its Doctors/staff. Dr. Gleason, Dr. Phillips and the staff are truly one of a kind. Recently one of my kittens came down with a strange problem which I knew needed immediate veterinarian attention. After two different vet appointments at two different locations, I still had no answers. I was being given the run-around, with A LOT of uncertainty by these veterinarians. No one could seen to get to the bottom of my babies problem. So I called Waldorf Animal Clinic and like in the past, was treated wonderfully and given a same day appointment. I took my little guy in and Dr. Gleason was such a breath of fresh air. She was confident in her diagnosis and immediately went over the steps we needed to take to get my baby healthy again. I will definitely be back to see her and I dont care that I have to drive an hour!! I trust them with my little guys and its definitely worth it! Theyre a tad bit more expensive, but I guess its true when they say -you get what you pay for!!!!

Walked into this establishment for the first time and was barely welcomed (pretty much had to speak first after being stared down) I walk up to the front desk to inquire about the boarding for cats just to be blankly started at by two receptionists. My father had to be the one to initiate asking if we were able to go back to the cat housing to see the conditions before boarding our tortie for an upcoming trip. They looked like we were bothering them and as if they really didnt want us to see the housing. Not only did it look in poor condition but they hardly seemed interested in the well being of the one cat housed in there. Long story short, -a customer told us to check out the clinic next door which was amazing and super friendly! They answered our questions before we could even ask them! Its sad when your own clients dont like you and are recommending other establishments WHILE in your own waiting room!

Ive used this clinic for years to help with my pets. This past Monday morning my Pit Bull severely injured his back while outside, so bad he couldnt use his back legs. I called the Waldorf Animal Clinic to get my dog in for help ASAP. I was told "were all booked up for today." I told the girl on the phone my dog is in critical condition, once again I was told "were all booked up for today." WTF since when isnt an animal emergency not an emergency to be rushed in for help and attention right away being booked full or not? I was told you can come in in the morning at 9 try to keep your pet calm until the morning. So much for being a loyal customer over the years. Screw the Waldorf Animal Clinic theyll never see another dime from me. My Pit Bulls back was beyond fixing and had to be put down yesterday, I found a better vet in town that Im much happier with. Beware of the Waldorf Animal Clinic.

I absolutely could not have been more impressed by this clinic. The staff was all so friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable, Ive never been greeted in such a warm and welcoming way from a business before so right there I felt like I had made a good choice. The doc was so nice and seemed happy to meet me and what was most impressive was that she listened to me, everything I said she really took into consideration. my dog is a little skittish but not aggressive so they all moved very calmly and easy around her, talking to her and offering treats to make her feel more comfortable, at other places shes had to be muzzled to get her shots but here she was so distracted by all the love she was getting she didnt even notice and before she knew it-it was over. I would highly recommend going there, the prices are fair and staff is wonderful.

This is my first experience with Waldorf Animal Clinic. I went to them upon the referral of a friend who is as picky as I am about with the care of her dogs. I can say that I was definitely impressed with Dr. Phillips. He really cares about the health of your dog. I recently rescued a 7 year old dog with a mammory tumor that needed to have it removed, as well as being spayed and a stomach tack. He went out of his way to schedule surgery at the earliest possible time. He is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything to you. I will use them in the future even though I live in Virginia and its quite a drive.

Many people who have lost their companions here have only themselves and their ignorance to blame. These doctors go through school for 10 years and put themselves through a tremendous amount of debt just to heal and keep your beloved companions healthy. Grow up and before you get a pet next time consider learning everything there is to know about them. That way you care offer your pet a proper life instead of blaming others for your misdeeds and your neglect.
