DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!! I took my cat to this place several times for worms, and after months of medication they informed me that they were treating the wrong type of worm. Recently, I took my cat for a suspected UTI. During the inspection the vet was way too rough with my cat, and afterward informed me that they wouldnt take a urine sample because the animal was "too stressed." After several rejected from this place, I spent that weekend in an animal emergency hospital because my cat had crystals in her bladder. The vet at the emergency clinic told me that Main Street Animal Hospital is one of the most unprofessional animal hospital around. 0 stars if I could!

Weve brought our cats here a couple times, but havent been fans of the service in general. When we were worried one of our cats might have a UTI or kidney problems, they told us he was "too fat" for them to tell, and that it was "probably behavioral." (Mind you, the cat was only 8 lbs and not at all chubby.) Also, when we brought one cat for grooming, he threw up after being overmedicated. Weve taken our cat to other vets for grooming--hes too feisty for regular groomers--and never had that happen, but it happened twice here. Were moving, so it wont be an issue, but if we were staying in the area, wed probably find another vet.

Would never go there again! We made an appointment to get our 3 cats medication for worms and maybe fleas. We were told they had to have a rabbies shot even though 2 of our kittens had shots 9 months ago and they are all indoor cats. They found a flea on one cat and were very trying to be very influential on all cats getting "their" flea medication to find out they did not have enough in stock for all the cats but they will have you pay anyway! When you leave they will tell you you need flea medication monthly for your pets, their medication is the best! Upsell much?

Ive been using Main Street for over 20 years but now I am moving on. I enjoyed dealing with Dr. TK and his staff very much. There were numerous occassions with my dog where he or his staff would follow up with us. Recently, though, I havent been dealing with Dr. TK. I dont know if he is working toward retirement or what that situation is but I get conflicting diagnosis with my cat. The office is quite a ways from my house so I decided to try a new vet that is closer to home. I have heard many good things about this vet and decided now is the time to move on.

We took our dog to this office 2 years ago. He was dignosed with Lyme Disease and we were told that he would need medications and treatment for the rest of his life. We have moved away from Haverhill and have now a new vet that has re-tested him for Lyme and told us that our dog has never had Lyme Disease.

Ive been going here since 2008 and never had a problem. They treat my cats wonderfully and assist me with everything I need for my kitties. They always take me in on short notice if one of my cats is sick. Reasonably priced. The vet and his wife are nice and compassionate and so arent the vet techs.

This is just simply a good reliable vet, great service and competitive prices (I do compare before I go to a place). Dr. TK and all the staff and friendly and helpful. We have been taking our pets here for over 10 years, and I highly recommend them.
