I had Dr Cogan administer veterinary care to my two Tibetan Mastiffs from 1996 to about 2002 when I moved from the Peabody area to Boxford. I found a home for my dogs shortly thereafter. Recently my wife and I got another Tibetan Mastiff and used Vets in our area. We questioned the honesty of the care we received and moved from one Vet to another. Today, we were in the parking lot where Boston North is located. I walked up to the office and low and behold Dr Cogin was in the office on a Sunday. We chatted and she remembered my dogs name and some of the treatments she administered. I explained to my wife how caring, honest and kind Dr Cogan was. We decided that we would make the longer drive and now use her again. Dr Cogan always showed compassion and true sincerity in treating my dogs. Her prices were fair and she took a personal interest when treating my dogs. We look forward to introducing her to our Lucy.

For 15 years now I have brought all of my animals to Doctor Cogan (aka Doctor Deb). She and her staff are incredibly compassionate, helpful, and professional - always. As for Doctor Deb she is brilliant. Nothing gets by her and she will check every inch of your dog/cat during a physical including, eyes, ears, mouth etc... Her interaction with the animals is amazing. Doctor Deb can calm down even the most aggressive and agitated animal as it appears to come second nature to her. Never once has she ever tried to push me or my "babies" out the door as Doctor Deb is the most thorough veterinarian I have ever dealt with. As long as I have pets, they will not be going anywhere else...... only to the good Doctor Deb and her outstanding staff.

I have been going to Boston North Dog and Cat Hospital for more than ten years. Dr. Cogan is an extremely competent and caring vet. I have never met a vet with such commitment to her patients. Her attention to detail always amazes me. I have been a nurse for more than twenty years at a major Boston Medical Center so my expectations regarding medical care are very high. I feel lucky to have found her.

We have been taking our cats to Dr. Cogan for about 20 years now and would not go anywhere else. Her caring and compassion are beyond measure. She gives each animal such attention. They are so calm for her. It is our hope that she never stops practicing!
