Absolute worst vet experience I have ever had. I highly suggest you do not bring your pet to this place. I went with my puppy yesterday and it was her first time being to a vet, she was very nervous and scared as expected and began to bark a lot. The receptionist proceeded to scream for my dog to shut up for a good five minutes. While in the exam room I could hear her yelling "shut up!" "Shut up you annoying dog" Not only did I find her to be very rude but incredibly unprofessional. I told the vet how I felt as she was yelling and he simply ignored me. The place was absolutely filthy and reaked of old urine. Yes it was cheap but now I see why. Worth it to spend a little more for much better quality care. I will not ever be returning to this vet.Also the receptionist kept making jokes about her cat being high on catnip, and telling the cats not to worry because she had their drugs. It may have been a joke but not appropriate at all considering I had my 3 year old child with me!

I have been going to Tlc for 6 years and I love them!! I am going through a pregnancy and a uterus infection very unexpected in my situation and let me tell you the doctor Steve and the medical assistant Crystal are the greatest people they try to help anyway possible they came in on a Sunday to do my bostons surgery and I cannot say not one thing bad about them besides the other people that work there they may not know all the correct information that Both Steve n Krystal know so maybe that is why everyone has unpleasant visits instead of assuming maybe people should talk to the doctor and the med assistance before you can judge the hospital and services....these past weekend has been hell at my home but if it wasnt for TLC I would have been a lot worse off...I am forever grateful for dr. Steve and Krystal thank you for your patience and for going far and beyond for my Americus may God bless you all and your business

I dont think people understand that the "rude drug addicted high off her ass, receptionist" is the owner, though I wasnt surprised to learn this years ago after speaking to her for less than 5 minutes and wondering how she could possibly be kept employed as the "face" of the office (god help them) thats why, obviously!!! Other than that (which is a big thing-unless you do what I do and completely ignore her, and say only what needs to be said to get in and out) the Vets are wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and always, always go the extra mile for us and our animals!!! Steve is just great and I totallly trust him and we have had a few major issues over the years. Extremely reasonable prices. I would absolutely give them 4 stars if not for the owner, keep hoping shell retire, honestly idk how she is still alive as high as she is everyday. Shes a sad case!!

Soooo a few years back I had a cat that suffered from a uterus infection. They did well with her and it didnt cost an arm and a leg. Well now I sit with another young cat of mine who I know is suffering from the same infection and I called to make an appointment for her to be seen and taken care of. Woman proceeds to tell me that if I dont take her in today (which I physically cant because Im at work) shell definitely die. Then Im trying to set a date and she says "well if its not today then its not worth it. Do you want her to die?"......obviously not, Im sorry but I really am trying my best I just noticed this issue today so I thought Id be responsible and have it handled I didnt need to be made to feel like absolute crap about it....so Ill never bring any of my animals back. Ill find them all a different time vet.

Unorthadox reception, maybe, we all have our faults. I must say though, i brought my cat there, found out he has a severe heart murmer, and this dr went above and beyond anything i could have expected, spoke with me every 12 hours, on her own time, to change his meds, she took calls close to 10:00pm on her personal phone to help my cat, even when my cat was going to be put down, she kept us positive and ensured us he still had fight in him, and hes still with us today, still in need of regular visits, but alive and doing well. And when it came down to the bill, which i couldnt afford, that person that these bad reviews are about, let me pay a chunk down, and is helping me by letting me pay weekly. So when you read these reviews, read them all, make your own decision, tlc helped me when i needed it most

Worst place to bring a pet if you care about them at all. Misdiagnosed my sisters cat two years ago and then told her the only thing she could do was euthanize him or he would suffer and they had to give him two shots because they missed with the first one and they smothered him in the table as they did it, poor thing probably died of a heart attack before they were able to euthanize it. Then when I went to get the ashes with her they gave me the wrong bag of ashes. My sister also had a friend who brought their puppy here for its first check up and the poor scared baby was acting very shy so they put him in a headlock and wrapped a towel around its head to hold its head down while they gave it its shots and it was so scared it went potty all over itself and the table, worst place Ive ever heard of.

ALERT !!!!. Do not go to TLC vet clinic on Hathaway Rd. in New Bedford if you love your pet. MY 10 year old English Bulldao passed way on the 21st. I wanted to have my dog cremated privately, meaning by herself not communal I paid $300.00 dollars. And I called TLC to ask when my baby was ready for me to pick her ashes up and bring her home. She stutters like a baffled jerk. So I called the place where my dog was supposed to go. They said they never received my dog. I called TLC back and that fat "B" forgot my dog in the dam freezer and would not admit to it, didnt even say sorry just a bad attitude and a smart ass. I am reporting them to the BBB and I will be in her parking lot telling everyone she is a crook and a heartless person.

At first everything fine my chihuahua kept being the same no good got wrost gave her a lot of shots did blood work n still they didnt know what she had but then giving her shots .. N meds over charged n very rude .. Feel bad for the vete working there hes nice but still wouldnt recommend tlc not no more.. Im taking her back to cape way or some other vet even if I have to pay more its the same thing always going back to tlc waisting money n time my dog suffering instead of going Tia good vet n paying once .. Unprofessional the secretary always with an attitude n the other one always yelling cause if dogs bark ect.. Talking arguing to the rest of her team about that they dont know what they are doing ect.. Just sad all this..
