Like any other medical facility what good is health insurance if Lahey isnt accepting new patients for say dermatology? Sure I got a referral and guess what that institution wasnt seeing new patients either. I basically suffered for a year and all because no one is accepting new patients. Useless in my opinion. Try making an appointment for a physical? One year and 6 months later is the date. This is a true statement. Lets talk about the staff now and how they treat patients. I am not saying they are all bad but my mother is going to die because Lahey refuses to provide any compassionate treatment plan. Any doctor she has seen has said nothing but immoral and condescending comments to her. One came out and said "Oh" "You again" "What are you doing here". My mother asked one of the physicians to repeat what he had just said, he looked at her and said "I just told you". Seriously she is dying slowly and all because of the lack of compassion the doctors have and the fact they simply dismiss anything she has told them. The facts are in plain sight. All her MRIs show the issues yet none could care less. In fact she was just seen and told she needed a shot. They not only gave her the wrong number she had to call herself and ask for the right number as to where to make the appointment and was given an attitude by the person answering the phone. I am considering wiring her with a camera and audio device next time because I am sick of the lack of compassion and how the staff treat my mother. Trust me if I was in the room with her no way no how would they even consider speaking to her the way they do when she is alone with them.

I had been transferred from Lahey Peabody to Lahey Burlington. I was in for an ER visit and I had been transferred by an ambulance. Whoever had authorized my transfer to Peabody to Burlington had not signed the proper workout in order for the ambulance company to bill my insurance company. I get this bill in January about an ambulance bill. I had stayed at Lahey Burlington & Peabody for a total of 3 nights and I had not received any bills for their services because my insurance had covered the incident. I give a call to the ambulance company and I am told that Lahey did not sign the proper paperwork in order to allow them to bill my insurer. What makes matter worse is that I had been chasing this bill for a few months now. I have called this person, lets called her "Sam" multiple times. I have left a voicemail with her and she has still not called back. This was back a month ago. Now fast forward during the month of July I have tried to call her again multiple times to no avail. I should not be dealing with this. I will avoid going to Lahey Peabody ever again.

I used to put them at a 5 star rating, but after they cant keep our insurance info in the computer for the 25th time (no changes) (no exaggerations) I have had to miss more work than necessary costing my minimum wage family more of a loss than we can afford. Definitely come here if you want your personal info messed up and lost (who knows where)! As a old insurance producer this is scary!

Went to Lahey Peabody on Monday, 01/12/2015. With unwavering professionalism, Shelly, in the Laboratory Medicine area, helped me with some very complicated blood work today. She all of this with very good humor! She took time to really read and understand what the Doctor has ordered in spite of the fact that is was very complicated and there were only two staff on duty!

An amazing medical facility. Highly integrated medical informatics system which allows all of the physicians and staff to quickly see relevant data from notes to lab test data. A number of highly recommended professionals in many specialties all within their system.

I would give this place a 0 if I could. The absolute worst people I have ever had to deal with. From receptionists to nurses to doctors. And then they bill you for the visit, bill you for the exam, and bill you for using their facility. TOTAL SCAM. STAY AWAY.

My husband and I were visiting from Colorado and he needed to be seen in the ER. He was seen immediately and everybody from the receptionist to the doctor was caring and the testing and treatment he received were excellent. The best ER experience weve ever had!
