Pardon Me
Im sure the staff are very well trained and they are friendly, but I felt like I was pressured with guilt and fear (my achilles heel) to get a lot of unecessary tests on my cat to find out what I already know. I wanted to get a steroid shot for his flea allergies and Im always on the lookout for a good safe flea medicine. They gave me a recommendation, but Im looking for a safer alternative than chemicals. In the long term I dont want to deal with cancer. Ive had this cat 8 years and hes had hotspots for 5. I just cant lift my hand to out something on him I wouldnt take myself. Immediately the doctor made me feel cheap (I am not cheap, I just hate wasting money if I dont have to) and negligent (Its easy to tell people what to do when its not your pet or when youre not the pet. She would want alternative medicine if it were her body). I spent $300 on tests to tell me he can get a steroid (which they scared me into thinking he might have something wrong with him to prevent that) and a blood test to show me hes anemic. I already knew that. I could have told them he has a flea problem and that I want a steroid shot and rabies vaccine, which is what I wanted and what were getting next visit. Sorry for the rant. I hope whoever is unfamiliar with vet visits, know what your cat needs if you can find out beforehand, research the treatments, and go with someone else so that you are not pressured by them to make hasty decisions. What a farce. I feel robbed, and worst of all used.

Randolph Animal Hospital has been a breath of fresh air to deal with. The Staff and Doctors are more than understanding and patient when a situation arises. e.g. Just before closing time on a Friday evening my dog, Sniper, cut part of his pad off on a buried piece of glass. I panicked and could not get it to stop bleeding. I contacted the Hospital and they told me to bring him right in. Now we all know how long Fridays are and the anticipation of having a great weekend always on our minds. Well, Doc, unselfishly put her plans aside to tend to Sniper. He made a full recovery and the pad has grown back. It is few and far between you find Doctors & a staff of this caliber. Thank You, The Brock Family ROOF..............................................

I"m writing this review, after my unprofessional interaction I had with Steven the manager of Randolph Animal Hospital. Its a sad day when the people in customer service treat a customer in an unprofessional manner, " Stating that no you can not talk the owner of the hospital. That is why Im here."" Stating that the owner does not talk to her customers even ones that have been with her for over twenty-five years. Also "stated that is my job and why I am here in this position." After this unprofessional interaction is with Steven. I will no longer use Randolph Animal Hospital for the care and protection of my furry family members. I will also never promote Randolph Animal Hospital, either to anyone looking for veterinarian service.

I have been bringing all our pets to RAH for well over 30 years. Dr Harrington, Dr Brahm, Stephen, and the entire verterinary staff have consistently taken care of all our beloved pets with expert knowledge and genuine concern and caring. You are never hurried during an appointment and all your questions are fully answered. When, sadly, there comes a time for end of life care, they are truly kind, considerate and compassionate. Despite moving from Randolph many years ago, I have always gone to RAH for my pets veterinary care. Several years ago I moved north of Boston. It would never occur to me to go anywhere else except RAH. The staff is outstanding and, in my opinion, the very best! Sincerely, Madeleine Spadea

I have been taking my dog to Randolph animal hospital since she was a pupy nine years ago. I have always felt they listen to me and take time to explain things. My dog had lyme disease at a very young, which was found quickly and treated. She also needed surgery for her ACL that she completey torn last year. I was able to get her right in to be seen and had surgery the next day. She recovery wonderfully. I am always able to get thru and get answers to my questions. The staff has barely changed since we started going there and they are all wonderful. They all care about the animals and always remember us when we come in. They are wonderful caring people. I would not go anywhere else with my dog.

I moved to Canton just three months ago, and wanted to find a vet for my two cats, Ms. Lily, age 12, and Pepe, age 7. Previously I had been taking them to Angell Memorial in Boston, and to the Brookline Animal Hospital, but both places were too far if I need to take them to a vet in an emergency. A friend, who has a dog, recommended Randolph Animal Hospital, and took me there for a quick preview. The place was immaculate, the examining rooms fully equipped, and I was impressed. Two weeks later, I brought Lily and Pepe in for complete exams. Dr. Harrington was thorough and absolutely delightful. I recommend this hospital to anyone whose pets need professional care.

Ive been apprehensive about another veterinary service after having bad experience at another animal hospital in town. My son picked up a stray cat we named Nacho and not having a pet in many years I dreaded finding the right vet. Needless to say Im completely relieved and beyond happy with the kind, courtesy, promptness, friendly and informative staff at Randolph Animal Hospital. We had out cat neutered and he is doing great! He was in and out within a few hours and was basically back to normal by the end of the day! The fees were very reasonable and I definitely didnt feel it was overpriced with the level of professionalism that was provided. Thank you!!

I have been bringing my dog to Randolph Animal Hospital for many years. The staff has always been professional and caring. When I adopted my 2 cats, they were mostly feral. Our first visit to the vet was very stressful for both the cats and the humans. The following year, after a year of dreading the next visit, the exam was stress-free! Dr. Harrington had come up with a plan to reduce the stress on the cats and the staff. Her plan worked perfectly! I would highly recommend Dr. Harrington and her staff! They truly care about the animals that they treat!

My dogs have all lived long and healthy lives with the help of RAH. The compassion I have received from the doctors and the staff have made the several crossings of the "Rainbow Bridge" more than bearable but a continuation of the journey we took together for a while. Thank you RAH, Ill be back, when I get my next dog. Im back to RAH with my new, about to become my service dog in training. Our first healthy pet visit went well and the Sunday Morning class helps with all the socialization requirements that well need for the Canine Good Citizen evaluation.
