The care in the infant room is really good and you can tell that the caregivers do care. In this room the infants do fall in love with the caregivers. If you are having issues or are upset they conduct themselves professionally and dont fly off the handle but rather work with you to resolve issues. On the other hand the toddler room upset my daughter after the leader had changed from one leader to another. After about 6 months of the new leader she began to cry when she had to go there and near the very end of our stay stood at the window waiting for us and/or raced for her coat as soon as we got there. I had conflict with the leader of the room whose personality is different from mine. My daughter was making this face every time we would talk about the room and look down at the floor. Like she did something wrong or wasnt good enough. That being said we were part time and that doesnt always generate the revenue that full time does. We were the only ones left part time in the room. Me the mom was around alot which I think was annoying to the leader of the room. It was obvious we were not welcome any longer. Now that being said the other 4 caregivers in the room each have something special to give your child and they work hard and do care about your child. All the luck in choosing.

My father was admitted 3/17/2015. He was 88 yrs old. He passed on 3/ 22/15. During his stay, he had the best care we could have ever imagined. The drs and nurses were very compassionate and very accomodating during his stay. My father and us kids original wish was to bring him home to pass. After experiencing such wonderful care in their Comfort Care, we decided instead of disturbing him that he would not have been more restful and comfortable anywhere else and the staff was phenominal. They provided the room for members of our large family to be there in a "at home atmoshere" and provided us with privacy and refreshments, snacks, whatever to make us feel very comfortable. Would I recommend them? Absolutely!! Thank you St Joseph Chelsea for your care and compassion!

When we moved to Chelsea we were excited to find out there was a hospital in town. After my experience here, I would never consider going back for even the most minor of injuries. The gross incompetence of my visit led my husband and I to feel terrified I was going to bleed to death while the hospital staff didnt care. We ended up driving to UM and the difference was night and day. If you have even the mildest life-threatening concern - dont ever go here.

My past expierences with hospitals have been miserable to say the least...I can say without a doubt my previous visit to this ER seemed more like a day at the spa. I cannot remember the last time I left the hospital feeling like they truly cared. It could have been the great meds or just the fact that this group of lovely people really enjoy their job...Thank you everyone who made me feel better!

Dr was awesome .But he was the only Dr on staff and they had life threatening cases that came in.we were there from 12pm-2:45pm.Used to be much more efficient and quicker .took 2 hrs just to get x ray of an arm read.
