I will never use great expressions in Monroe dentist office again. On Wednesday I had a top molar extracted that was infected and had broken. I was sent home on ibuprofen 600. Thats it no antibiotics. On Friday my husband called because I was in so much pain, I couldnt open my mouth, eat or drink. They called in an antibiotic. Today (Monday) I go in for a follow up because of the pain Im in. I told them I thought my jaw was out of socket. They argued with me saying it was just dry socket. The entire time I was there I tried to tell them that it wasnt dry socket i had dry socket before,that something wasnt right. I was even told that they were the ones who went to school and got the degree not me. They packed it with medicine which made my tooth area numb but did not relieve the pain in my lower jaw. After arriving home I decide I cannot take the pain anymore and have to do something to fix it. I used the heal of my right hand and pushed on the right side of my lower jaw. Pushing my jaw to the left and popping it back into place. My husband and our friend herd it pop from the other side of the room. I felt immediate relief from the pain and was immediately able to open my mouth again. I am so mad that they didnt even bother checking into the problem and just dismissed it as something else. That instead of checking they tried to blame it on something else. They dislocated my jaw then they tried to say i had caused myself to get dry socket and that was all it was. When in fact i was right and it needed to be put back into place and I do not have dry socket. There is no more pain in my tooth area just some acing, soreness and stiffness in my jaw. I will be advising anyone I know and meet to never go to that office again.

Horrible experience do not see ayesha rafiq. This place is seriously a joke I was looking for a dentist for my daughter I called and asked if they work with kids I was told yes so i take time off work to take her only for the Dr to come in open her mouth nor literally 2 seconds and say im going to refer you to a pediatric dentist. REALLY couldnt you tell me that over the phone and not waste my time. The Dr was extremely rude she asked me to stand over by the door your in my area. Im standing by my daughter who is scared and you or your rude staff are not making it any better. They rushed the whole time and were aggravated she couldnt keep her mouth open long enough for the Xray. For the Dr to come in for 2 seconds and 1 xray they charged my insurance 150$...and their policy is you have to come in for a consult so they see what you need done then make another app for cleaning then come back again for any fillings ect seems like they are all about charging the insurance!!!!

They do decent work, and they are super friendly. But they are ridiculously overpriced and they have tons of "extras" they try and talk you into purchasing. My own mistake but they offered a cancer screening for $50. Im a smoker so I figured its a good idea. They looked in my mouth with a blacklight for about 20 seconds... That was it. No tests, they didnt scrape anything and send it off to a lab or anything like that. Just a 20 second blacklight. Unfortunately theyre the only dentist in Monroe that my insurance covers. I have a $2,000 maximum which was eaten up with one cleaning and 2 fillings. So between the prices (They charge $4 for a toothbrush! Isnt that supposed to be free from your dentist?!) and the extras they kept trying to push on me Im going to look for someone else outside that my insurance will cover, even if its outside of Monroe.

Terrible experience. My wife went to them complaining of pain in one of her molars. They took xrays and did a cleaning and said nothing was wrong. They advised she use Sensodyne tooth paste for the sensitivity/pain. Went to Kuras Dental after the pain persisted for another month. They took xrays and said she needed a root canal. During the root canal, they discovered that the nerve in the molar had completely rotted away. Apparently, it didnt even bleed during the procedure because it had rotted so badly. Gross! Avoid this dentist like the plague.

The male dentist there really messed my mouth up. I went in there with zero pain and came out with tons. Its been months, nearly a year and I still cant chew on the side he filled for cavaties. Everything hurts it. Ive had some filling fall out and when I went back in to see if he could fix it he completely denied anything being wrong with the work. Very bad dentist but great staff! The hygienists and entire staff were great! Friendly and professional..

Front desk staff was wonderful and greeted me the second I walked in the door, made me feel very welcome. The assistant was very nice and helpful, made my X-rays super quick and easy. The hygienist is fantastic, my teeth have never felt so clean. Dr Myers is very knowledgeable, made sure I understood the treatment I need and why I needed it. I would definitely recommend the Monroe office to anyone looking for a great dental office!

My son has zero cavities (at this point), but his two front teeth have streaks of brown. He now smiles close-mouthed, but Great Expressions will be placing composites on his two front teeth and is being covered by insurance. This is a huge relief! They have been able to schedule the appointment within two weeks of telling me the good news. Im liking this dental office:)

I started going to Great Expressions earlier this year and I am so happy I chose this office. The staff will answer any questions you have. They are great about getting me in at convenient times. My kids love them and cant wait to go back! Every single person in the office that I have met so far is friendly and informative. I recommend Great Expressions!!!

They do simple dental procedures. They are polite and friendly but they cant handle tooth extractions, have sent me 40 miles away once. Today after sitting in the chair for an hour they refused to do the job. Sending me 25 miles away 2 weeks from now. Im not a happy camper. Its where I have to go for my insurance.

The staff is SUPER friendly and always willing to help and listen! Its nice having access to a specialty doctor right in the same location! The office space is small due to its set up. But some renovations could really make it TOP NOTCH! Overall, the staff and location are spot on!

I was so terrified to go to the dentist but I am so thankful that I went to this office. The entire staff was so kind and understanding. They made me feel so much better. I would encourage anyone looking for a great dentist to go to this office!
